I go to MFP website online, find the Fitbit icon and click on it. Then I disconnect and then I hit connect to sync fitbit with MFP again. It might take a few minutes but usually it my exercise calories show up. Good luck!!!

What a great experience for you and your daughter!!!

This is a great quote for everyone and so true!!!

I agree MFP gives me 1200 calories to start out with. The calories are increased by me walking 15,000 steps everyday to at least 1900 calories. I usually eat around 1500-1600 calories a day. I don't think I could stick with a 1200 calories a day and lose the 43 pounds I have.

Congrats, you both are doing awesome!!!

Way to go

Go to mybodygallery.com and put in your current height and weight, then judge for yourself....

What the previous poster says is true because we're all built differently. There is a website though we're you can put in your age, height and measurements. I have fun doing that. http://www.mybodygallery.com

I'm losing my last few pounds, still trying to eat right and exercising. I'm losing a pound every 2 or 3 weeks. The funny thing is after I lose a pound, it goes back up a pound till I lose another pound. So on and so on...

With my steps on Fitbit I just sync Fitbit to MFP. On the Diary settings I have enabled negative adjustments. Good luck, I know it's frustrating!

I don't have this issue. Most of the time my meals are spread out during the day. If you don't eat until 3 PM, I bet you are thinking about food. Maybe smaller meals more often when you're off.

Amazing difference in the photos. Congrats on your weight loss!

I read on a blog about having cheat meals instead of cheat days. Works better for me, keeps me from pigging out all day.

Around Christmas last year I took a break from my diet...food wise. I did maintain my 15,000 steps daily. I wanted to keep one foot in the door, so to speak. After about 3 months I had gained 5 lbs. I got back to watching what I ate and lost it. So for me it worked.

I had 15,000 steps on my Fitbit. I was also able to save half of my calories mfp allowed me from exercising.

I'm 5'2" and weigh 135. I might lose a few more pounds to give me a little more leeway.

Cardio is important but so are the calories from the food we eat. I personally like to have about half of my allotted calories that I get from exercise left over. Usually that's between 400-500 calories, if mfp gives me let's say 900. This helps in case I put the calories wrong from the food I've eaten, just a bit of a…

Without my Fitbit and MFP I've lost 42 lbs. with the continued use of both of them I have every hope of keeping it off

Calorie counting can be boring. Eating isn't though so I'll keep counting calories to balance things out. I'll throw in some exercise, also... :) good luck!!!
