i have 5328 steps at 8:30 am and just burned 500 calories at the gym. Why does it show -566 for a net of 66? Do I have a setting to adjust? Thanks!!

Did you also log your workout in MFP? Also, I'm not an expert, but perhaps later today the adjustment will be different.0

With my steps on Fitbit I just sync Fitbit to MFP. On the Diary settings I have enabled negative adjustments. Good luck, I know it's frustrating!0

Click on the adjustment in your diary to see the math MFP used to calculate it. A negative-566-calorie adjustment means you've burned 566 calories less than your MFP activity level (sedentary, lightly active, etc.).
No need log any step-based activity—your Fitbit is tracking it for you. Log non-step exercise (like swimming or biking) either in Fitbit or in MFP—never both. Exercise logged in MFP overwrites your Fitbit burn during that time.
