I just happen to buy the foods I like and measure out the serving sizes and when I actually think I AM eating at least 2,000 it just never works out that way by the end of the day. I…

good for you for being able to pull off your regimen and I sincerely mean that but you just don't seem to understand that I am not at a point where I can eat foods like that and remain at a caloric defecit because I don't have that self control. I am also trying to revamp the way that I feel I don't just want to lose…

Another great point thanks for this I'm also trying to AVOID unnatural chemicals that aren't meant for the body as much as possible and that means staying away from simple carbs and processed foods IMO

I meant eliminating this like white bread, white flour, white pasta……. and to…

I'm 5'7" and weigh 246 I'm looking to get down to 180 would a 2,000 calorie diet be right on target in terms of caloric intake I need to shoot for?
-
yes! this is what I meant by my previous post but I guess I just didn't properly word what I was trying to say and what was kind of backed into a corner with my avoiding carbs statement I just meant cutting out simple carbs and processed . just wanted a confirmation that this type of diet/ lifestyle change was the way to…

It sounds like you've got it all figured out! lol I just need to develop better self discipline in terms of the portion sizes when eating those types of foods

I do have sweets here and there but I wouldn't die if I cut them out all together. It's always been the salty snacks that have gotten me potato chips, dips those sorts of things which I've cut back on tremendously so I think I genuinely could cut out processed sugary sweets all together
-
Thanks for the feedback I appreciate it everyone hahaha probably should have mentioned maybe I meant the simple carbs I should be cutting out all together right? ( white bread, white rice, pasta etc.)
