  • I have an extra large Dunkin Donuts coffee every weekday. On the weekends I brew a pot and drink it all day long... Gotta have the "brain juice" to function. :)
  • Anything Chocolate... or buffalo chicken dip... I am an addict!!! :)
  • I have the same issue. I have lost 70 lbs since January, and like you I thought nah, not going to happen. I now have no motivation to exercise, but I am still watching what i eat (most of the time). The watching what i eat and limiting the calorie intake has kept me from gaining weight - thankfully. Now i am looking for my…
  • I agree with Gum. I have become addicted to orange and apple tic tacs. The other thing I do, I have a scale and I eat the ice cream but i weigh it so i can hold myself accountable. :) I also like fun size candy bars instead of the regular size ones. I keep the 100 calorie pack cookies on hand. I figure that I love the…
  • Sounds AWESOME!!
  • Thanks! I have those random blabbering days myself, and yours is very helpful! :)
  • I left my comment that she does not need to loose more weight, that she looks fine on the bottom half and skin and bones only on the top... I think we should all leave comments on their crazy page.
  • Have you tried exercising off the amount of calories that you go over? That way it evens out.
  • I am not 100% sure, but from what I read it seams like eating clean is a term used to describe eating healthier. I googled it, and there is a whole system out there. :) Hope that helps.
  • I do not think it is ok. I will look for my book and post again if I find it.

  • Not exactly the same, but oh so good - Turkey hill low calorie strawberry cheesecake ice cream. It is AWESOME!! and low cal.
  • Love HALT... going to put it everywhere so that I remember it. Thank you! Generally when I am not hungry but want to eat anyway I find that I was really thirsty and did not know it. Water usually helps. Or gum.. I have tendency to chew gum if I think I want to snack. Thanks again!!
  • Honestly, I do not know much about the HRMs that are out there. My wellness coach suggested polar, and based on the limited research I did I chose the one that I got because it was mid priced, and had the features I wanted.
  • If you were dieting you would be more likely to revert... But you said one thing in your post that rings true to me... it is a lifestyle change. A diet is a fad, and is something that is only done for a while. It sounds like you are of the mindset that you are changing everything. My mother in law always says it takes 21…
  • I agree with Amy - more fruits and vegetables. I used to hate them, but the more I added them the more I began to love them, and can not imagine a day without my fruits and veggies. Also breakfast is very important! It gets your metabolism jump started. Higher protein foods are best to get you started in the right way. I…

  • I have been thinking about buying the insanity videos and now you have me convinced that I need to. I was worried about spending all that money on something, and maybe hating it. But it sounds like it is worth the "hate" and hard work! :)

  • Way to go!! That is the best feeling! I had a moment like that last week... it started with a pair I didn't think I could fit that turned out to be too big, and then I tried a pair I thought wouldn't fit and sure enough they did! Congrats!!! :)
  • Welcome!! Good Luck with your journey. This site really is awesome, and there are so many helpful people here. Feel free to friend me! :)
  • Thank you so much for all of the tips! I really find it hard to get out of the house to go to a real class because of my kids. I usually do my workouts when my kids and husband(he works a very early shift) have all gone to bed at night, and though I could leave the house once they are all asleep by then it is 9 or 10 and I…
  • They vary in cost. I have a Polar FT4 it was 89.00 at Sears. I love it. Turns out I am burning more calories than I thought I was when I was working out. There are others out there for cheaper, I went with this one on the advice of my Wellness coach. :) Hope that helps!
  • CONGRATS!!! That is such a great thing, to realize that you have lost more than you think you did! I agree with the other posts - treat yourself to a couple new things, but if you are planning to keep going don't get too much - you will be out of these before too long! The few new things really will motivate you even more…
  • I love Greek yogurt!!! Lots of protein (more than an egg) and pretty good calorie wise (about 140-160 depending on the flavor) I also sometimes Take total Omega 3 Honey and Almond cereal and add some in to the yogurt to add a crunch. If you don't like the texture (it is thicker than regular yogurt) the cereal helps.
  • When I have days like that I do not let them get me down, and if I really feel guilty - I go for a walk, or turn on my Zumba workout and work off those extra calories I just ate. Right now my weakness is s'mores - so I have one every night, and I work it back off by doing Zumba afterwards. I was also idle recently and felt…
  • Thank you all for your help! I appreciate it greatly!! Looks like I have a lot more to change than I thought, but in the end it will be worth it. :)
  • Oh, not 37 in one month, 37 in 4 months. Since i have been on MFP I have lost 10lb. I really just changed my lifestyle. I now try to keep my calories under 1200 daily, and I walk on my breaks and lunches at work. I calculated it the other day and found that I walk nearly 4 miles on lunches and breaks during the day. I now…
  • Good Luck!!! Keep your eye on goal... :)
