  • Thank you for your opinions! I did lose weigh a few years ago ( almost 40 lbs ) by eating right and walking. After a life change - buying a house, working more, exercising less - I gained it all back. Now - I joined this health program and have been logging my food every day, getting more exercise, and its just frustrating…
  • We are all here for you because we all can experience this - I just lost my mother very unexpectedly and for 2 months did not log or watch what I ate. I even purposely ate junk food because it made me feel a little better during this difficult time. I am definately paying for it - I was down 15 lbs and gained back 8 lbs…
  • I eat the 2% cottage cheese because the fat free just doesn't taste as good. I add grape jelly to my cottage cheese - it's super delicious and I consider it afternoon snack or after dinner snack because its sweet but has protein to keep me feeling fuller (high content of casein protein a longer-lasting protein) . The…
  • Great post and info. Thanks!
  • Yep, i know the feeling. I live in what can be consider Beer City: Milwaukee. I have a microbrewery down the street and taverns on every corner. We are know for binge drinkers and drunk driving, etc. Drinking is the norm here - but yes - ever since starting my most recent weight loss program - my bartenders miss me. I do…
  • I definitely see a change! I wish I could have lost that much myself - I have a similar body image and over the last month and a half I really can't see the different myself - but I can just start to feel it in my clothes. Just a smidge looser. Keep it up - healthy weight loss doesn't happen over night. Those peeps on the…
  • I can agree - and also cannot stand my reflection - but hoping to change that this year. Thanks for the motivation! :flowerforyou:
  • I know you may not want all your friends to know when and how often you have sex but like i said - sometimes it can be a motivational tool to burn some calories!
  • Also - there's a cool site called Earndit - which links your Fitbit or other trackers to the site to earn points And points = rewards like gift cards to healthy businesses, and clothing, etc. I just joined about 2 weeks ago and already have earned enough points for a gift card for Klutch club box delivery. Click on my link…
  • I have a Fitbit One - and love it It keeps track of steps, stairs, and sleep, also calories burned It has a screen and shows a flower growing based on how much activity you do I also has your name and has personalized messages like - " pick me up Dori!" if I haven't moved in a while I've also seen it say BonJour Dori and…
  • Feel free to add me as a friend - my fitness program goal is 22 pounds but if I can keep up the 1 lb a week calcuations - I could hit 50 by Dec 31st!

  • Interesting article - i keep the idea of anything in moderation or less is okay. I will have the occasionaly diet soda - but over the last 7 years - my house has stopped keeping soda in it. We drink water and sometimes if we get sick of water - we do sugar free, lo or no calorie drink mixes like fruit punch. Just an idea -…
  • That is super awesome and very inspiring! Congrats and thanks for the motivation!
  • I learned from Dr Oz and noticed from trying that I like taking half a mutli-vitamin in the am and half in pm with breakfast and dinner. Absorbs better, less waste
  • Just to throw it out there.... I don't count the 60 cal per hour burned while sleeping. If i'm riding, I don't count, if I'm driving, a longer than normal trip, I'd count it! Just my opinion.
