I wear one of those bodymedia calorie tracker armbands and I can tell you that I burn more calories walking around the mall shopping for a couple hours than I do at the gym for an hour. So yeah, walking will work :-)

It's not so much that they shouldn't make minimum wage, it's more about fair working conditions and livable wage/hours. Walking is fine, in fact the other day I skipped the gym and went shopping instead. I spent so much time walking around the stores downtown then I ended up burning more calories than I would have at the gym (I was wearing my calorie tracker thing so I know for a fact)

I'm 28 and I still dress exactly the same as I did when I was 16, I still shop at hot topic and my body is the same as when I was 16 so it looks no different really. However it probably helps that I look young and get mistaken for a 19 year old on a daily basis.

It depends. I met my boyfriend online, and we've been together for 4 years and are very compatible. However, I also met 2 of my exes online. The big difference between my current and my exes is that they were long distance and he was local. LDR's don't work.

Thanks for all the suggestions everyone. TIL that I am a size 8 in Marc Jacobs, but a size 10 in H&M and a size 13 in most juniors pants. I guess I'll probably just stick with the 13s for now since the majority of womens sized pants have the "mom jean" waist that I despise lol. But I feel a little better

It's not really my hips though, my size 13 pants are quite loose around the stomach/hips area, though I do have somewhat wide hips, it's really just my thighs that are the problem.

According to a lot of people 13 US is plus sized, and I seem to be 13 in most brands I've tried. Some people just aren't morning people, it's not that big of a deal if you can force yourself to work out later in the day to make up for the mornings you sleep in.

If you just recently started working out your body is going to retain water for a while. Try drinking more water to help flush out some of the water weight, and just give it time. If after a couple of weeks it still isn't budging then maybe you should reassess your caloric intake.

It is quite hard on the knees yeah. There are modified versions of most of the moves though and if you can't do a certain thing because of your knees you could always just fill that exercise with something else you can do.

Not a wise decision. If you skip breakfast you will slow down your metabolism. I know what it's like not being a morning person, I just do protein shakes.
