that's awesome of him to say something nice and awesome of you for the hard work and dedication. :)

totally think it depends on the ones you eat. as many have mentioned, quest bars actually arent too bad, and they can really help me meat my protein macros which is hard for me to do sometimes.
-
great job! you are doing really well!

as long as you are within your goals, when you eat is irrelevant other than personal preference.
-
As long as it is healthy and in your calorie goals then either would be good. Are you eating breakfast because you feel like you need to? Because you really don't. Eat at whatever schedule feels best for you.

i love peanuts and peanut butter. nothing wrong with having some as long as it fits in your diet. my only thought for consideration is to see if your grocery carries fresh made peanut butter, or learn to make it yourself. :)

my apologies if someone has already mentioned this but try to skip the juice. wasted calories. for that 120 calorie glass of juice, you could have eaten 4 servings of fiber dense veggies like broccoli and felt a lot fuller for a lot longer. also, its just your first day... don't stress. :) and, keep in mind that calories…

for just straight up weight loss, it's all about your diet. what you eat and how much. my opinion is that you need to stop getting so many calories from drinks. you get a lot more to eat that way and will feel fuller. this makes you less likely to snack. also, pay attention to your macros (carbs, fat and protein). try to…

i'm playing it. and loving it. it's a beautiful looking game, and fun and just different enough to be interesting, yet similar enough to other mmo's that i don't feel completely lost.

Calories is much more important to weight loss. Eating the right amount, not just a low amount, is the key. Obviously eating healthier is better for you in the long run, but you can still have carbs and lose weight as long as you are eating the right amount of calories.

Your BMR is around 1450 calories. So eat at least that much but probably around 200-300 more depending on how active you are.
-
net calories goal is different for every person. based on your bmr and tdee. then take into account how much you are aiming to lose and how much you exercise. what is your weight and height and age?
-
jerky is one of my favorite snacks. low cal and filling also, hard boiled eggs banana.
-
doable? yes. doable in healthy way? not so much.

i weigh / measure everything pretty much. if it's something with the nutrition info on the package, like one slice of bread or 6 crackers, then i know what to put for the calories. but things like milk, shredded cheese, pasta, etc, i weigh or measure with measure cups so i know exactly how many servings i am using. i was…

What a great job! Wonderful dedication! Way to go on all the hard work and thanks for posting. You are an inspiration!

for your height, weight and age you should be eating no less than 1800 calories day. what you are losing is probably a lot of water weight. sorry, 900 cals a day is not healthily sustainable. eat better and eat more. you will lose weight.

You look beautiful! Great job!

sidesteal wins again, lol!

Amazing work so far! Great job and super dedication, you look awesome!

well, i have only lost 40 lbs so far, and have a long way to go but i'm 5'2. i think i can tell a little bit in my face that ive lost (see below). and my clothes certainly fit much differently but i know i have a way to go still.

Great dedication and hard work. You look amazing! Congrats to you!

imho, with as active as you are, 1200 cals a day is not enough for you. your bmr is roughly 1400 cals a day. plus add in all the activities/exercise you do... you should be eating more.
