I struggle with hitting my fat macros so I love peanut butter. i usually make pb&j sandwiches (when I have the cals) or dip apple slices into it. Peanut butter is delicious.0

Yeah it's high in fat but it's the good kind of fat and it's also in moderation, which I think is key with a lifestyle change. Peanut Butter is very high in calories however so you have to make sure you measure and log it in. It's a great filler when you need more calories. I like my peanut butter with apples, so yummy. To make it easier for me I bought the to go packs, which are a bit more calroies at 250 per small container but when I have lots of extra calories left or if I had a big workout that's when I eat it.0

Do you like the taste of peanut butter?
Would you like a serving of peanut butter?
Will a serving of peanut butter fit into your cal/macros for the day?
^ As simple as that. If you answered yes to all of the above, EAT THE PEANUT BUTTER.
Exactly.

I eat PBJ's all the time. I eat PB with celery a few times a weeks. I eat a scoop of pB at least a few times a week.
Nothing wrong with PB and I don't need a funky substitute. I just moderate it and count it.0 -
I love me some peanut butter.0

i love peanuts and peanut butter. nothing wrong with having some as long as it fits in your diet.
my only thought for consideration is to see if your grocery carries fresh made peanut butter, or learn to make it yourself.0 -
i love it to ! i think i want some right now!0

Most days I'll have 1 - 2 tbs. It hasn't stopped me from losing 40 lbs (my ticker is only my current goal).0

how do you stay motivated ive been doing this for almost 4 weeks ive lost 7lbs but today my scale said i gained 2 lbs in 1 day? thats a little crazy i have strictly on my diet but have been doing way more hardcore workout resistance, lifting and syngergistic workouts people tell me to forget the scale and i do for a second but then i think about how the scale says ive gained and i just go into the spiral that im never gonna lose and i should also say ive been diagnosed with severe anxiety and ocd so i know this is a big factor0 -
I ate 1200 calories worth of peanut butter last night.
Stayed within my calories, too.
SUCCESS.
You, sir, are my hero. :flowerforyou:0 -

any thoughts? how often do you eat it? is it ok to have one serving everyday? what are everyones thoughts? looking for something healthy but also good for a sweet tooth!
My advice is the same as I gave you for your coffee. EAt it, enjoy it, and learn to do what you're going to do forever.0 -

Try PB2...much less calories and tastes exactly the same. But if your macros allow it..eat the real stuff as much as you want, its a healthy source of fat.
I am OBSESSED with PB2. All of the nutrition, none of the guilt, and it comes in chocolate. I eat it every single day0 -
If you like it, make it fit! I personally choose natural peanut butter without added oils and sugar.0
-
i eat it maybe twice a week
its ok to eat everyday
but mine has 100 cal. for a tablespoon so0 -
I really love peanut butter, but I have not had any since I started dieting. It is high in fat, however the natural kind is the good kind of fat (from the research I have been doing), you just need to be moderate in how much you have and be sure to figure it into your daily calories/fat.
edited to add.....
does anyone else see the Jiff ad to the right? lol big brother must be watching0 -
Instead of peanut butter, I eat Sun Butter. I enjoy it more.0
