I absolutely love yoga, and believe that there is a form of yoga out there for everyone. You don't need to be flexible. Yoga is about about respecting your body; not forcing yourself into a posture because everyone else is doing it. It keeps me centered. I highly, highly recommend you try it out!

Today I desire... To make a to- do list of everything I need to complete within the next 2 weeks before I leave To get some the things on my to- do list done To exercise For my lower back to stop hurting For something wonderful to happen When you look at the day with a positive attitude, like something wonderful will…

I like to do leg lifts and bicycle crunches. I do them reaalllllyyyy slow, and sure that I don't use any type of momentum.

Bring your own popcorn. I always pop one of those 100 cal bags before I go, and put it in my purse. Or bring some fruit with you.

My dad is over 330lbs and does yoga. And not just a gentle class, he takes vinyasa. He has even taken a hot yoga class with me! Now mind you, my dad doesn't take yoga classes religiously every week but he takes a few classes (at least) each month. I've been practicing yoga for quite a number of years now, and I can tell…

I like having a high fiver/ high protein whole wheat wrap with natural PB and half a banana. It is super filling and gives me a lot of energy. If I'm really craving something sweet then sometimes I drizzle just a little bit of agave nectar or honey on it. Just a drop is all you need. Keeps me full past lunch time usually.

You can do this. Taking charge is the first step. I find too (like the post above) that just logging what I eat helps. Just being accountable for everything I put in my mouth- whether it is a good or bad day- keeps me focused. It helps me to be more aware of when I need to eat and to listen to my body's signals. Take it…

I'm not from Jersey, but I can definitely help offer support! I've been going through similar struggles lately.. slipping up, not logging, and then getting down on myself about it thus continuing the cycle. We can do this! Remember you goals and count every small victory. We will all help you get through this!

Ok, so I'm a little late but I'm in! I will just have to go a little bit past June!!!

I know it's scary. It's so easy to let negative thoughts creep into your head. But don't. You've come this far. You should be SOOOOOOOOOO proud of yourself and everything you've accomplished. I know what you mean about it being intimidating to talk to people. Just take baby steps. For every negative thought you have,…

Thank you all for your encouragement!!! It's nice to know that I can be down, post something, and get such support back. I really appreciate it!

Hi! I'm pretty new to this site too. I started using it last week, but so far so good. Your calorie intake is based on the type of lifestyle you have and how many pounds you want to lose. I think they also take into account your age and actual weight. Our bodies need ~1200 calories per day to function properly, give or…

Start today. Start right now. Right now, make the commitment. Diets don't work- diets are temporary. A real life style change is truly the only thing that works. And make it gradual, don't make any drastic overnight changes. You also have to give yourself some credit. Recognizing where our issues lie is the first step…

Life happens. Don't beat yourself up about it. Just accept today for what it was and move forward. Look at how far you have come and everything you've accomplished. Remember this is a journey, even if there are a few bumps along the way.
