Thank you both :) Have added you! Nath, I figured it out, ignore my message about adding me, you're added!
-
Thanks Nath, will do!

Wow. 6'0 and 210 and 28 on the BMI scale is not big. You have some issues, I suspect. Controlling anyone in that way and making hurtful comments is not a good thing. Get some counselling!

Hi, are you logging in your diary? I'd advise doing that for starters. Definitely use a scale - you'll be surprised at what quantities actually look like, especially things like rice.
-
Well, quite obviously your net calories shouldn't be that low. And you are not counting calories, it would seem.

Can't stand chocolate, coffee, marzipan, the white of an egg in any capacity, anything aniseed-y. Have had to swear off pineapple and fermented carbohydrates (like lentils, chickpeas, bulgar wheat etc) as they make me hideously, hideously unwell (IBS related). Sob.

Totally, when I started it was very different. Feeling quite stalled at the moment. Think from what you and the others have said that protein shakes are my best bet. Unfortunately I got diagnosed lactose intolerant last year and suffer severe reactions to fermentable carbs so those good sources are out! Will take a look at…
-
Yeah, there's a reason why people carb load before big races!
-
I appreciate that and it's very true but I think there's a fundamental misunderstanding here. I'm not trying to overdo it to lose weight faster. I'm doing it because it's fun and I enjoy being able to do more and do it better and achieve more exercise things!
-
I've been at this since the start of 2014 and I have lost c.40 pounds in that time, so I'm not concerned about crashing and burning on the diet - I'm not doing tons of exercise to try and create an enormous deficit! But I am concerned about crashing and burning on the exercise, which you've all pointed out is a bit much…

Protein shake's a really good idea for the weekends - will look into it! And yep on the refuelling, tried to do that yesterday but a soft pretzel can't really cut it for energy...
-
If you think about it, though, it's just a cycle up the river and back and a gym class!
-
Yeah, when you put it like that... I should probably eat more before I exercise rather than leaving the majority of the food till afterwards...
-
I find it really hard to eat heavily in the mornings - what would you suggest? Unhelpfully, I can't stand eggs! And I'm a Jew so pork is out...
-
Glad it's not just me! More protein sounds like a good plan. I find it hard to regulate the levels of exercise - during the week I am often exhausted by the time I get home from work and I'm very much not a 'crack of dawn' person, so the bulk of it happens over the weekend.
-
Nope, not just starting, but am getting back into it after a few months off for various reasons - maybe why, as I tend to do large bursts in one day over the weekend, as I can't fit in everything I want to during the work week. I don't know if it's that much in reality - it was a cycle up the river and back and then a…

A croissant, some cornflakes with coconut milk and a banana :)

This.

Yes, once a week is fine, don't listen to all these other people. The main thing is doing it regularly and making the commitment. And it will probably take you many months to see the benefits - but you will see them.
-
Or, do more exercise to balance it out.

I have lost 46 pounds since the start of 2014 eating at a deficit of 1400 calories and additionally eating back half my exercise calories, which always gives me a decent amount for the day (MFP is notoriously inaccurate, which is why a lot of people eat back half and it works for us). You could up that calorie total and…

Not really true. Yes, you're going to spend about £25-30 per bra, but that's not exactly a fortune, plus they're not grannyish in large part. Try somewhere like Bravissimo or Ewa Michalak - http://www.bravissimo.com/ or http://www.ewa-michalak.pl/, or take a look at Fuller Figure Fuller Bust's Facebook page for inspiration.

Me too :/ I'm down about 45 pounds and my boobs have gone down from 38GG to 34GG and since that fitting they've shrunk further. I'm trying to take it slowly so that I don't just get left with droopy sacks of nothing but it is immensely frustrating.

Thank you lovely, I've added you. Such kind words! I'm so sorry to hear about your family members - and you're so right about life having impact. I just bought new workout clothes actually (the ones in that pic are some of them!) and I will get back on track and get these four pounds off and then some :)
-
Totally true. Got to keep going! This is not the place to stop, this is the danger/complacency spot!
-
Thank you hon, I've tried that but something's not been clicking! Taking it back to the basics...
