what Graymanstole has said is very true - i set myself a goal as follows, as your tale mirrors my journey - this is all about lifestyle and that starts with mind, then body. Sit down and think about your real goal, Very few of us will ever be super models or ripped bodybuilders, instead make a decision as to what you think…

Don't pay any attention to the perfectionists Use this site to learn what works best for you, we are each different and all have our own ways of coming to terms with what we need to do to succeed ( and we all have setbacks) The negative people in my opinion:- expect instant results, always find fault with others, and…

Hi In my opinion it doesnt matter wether you enter it as a walk or a run - good for you for doing the effort. I use this website and i check it against the machines at my gyms calorie burnt screen, usually within 5 calories, these are what I use against my workout on here so if i burn 300 at the gym thats what i enter and…

ok lets ask a question - why 1200 calories? I tried 1200 and gained weight for exactly the reasons you have said - I'm hungrier than hell So I switched up to 1450 base line , I excercise most days ( 2hours Gym time) I add back a portion of my burn to the db here - I don't trust the MFP database its skewed probably down to…

I suppose the simple answer is " what are you here for ?" as most members here have a weight loss goal and fast food has all the wrong content to aid in wieght loss Sure we all partake now and then - I last had a burger from a fast food joint at christmas 2012 although it was not one of the plastic joints, like the ones…

I think thats a fair summary - so many people think its just a case of login, create an account and some miraculous tapping on the keyboard will make it all fall off overnight. It takes time, hard work, dedication to your goal, commitment and a sense of humour to be able to do this. Above all you need to have an unwavering…

I used to drink tea all day long and then discovered coffee when i moved to Australia....... Its very confusing to admit it all heres my take - change your food intake up slightly and eat back your excercise calories less 20%, try this for a couple of weeks and you will see the weight begin to move your body has possibly aclimatised itself to your input output levels and is holding on to every calorie consumed…
