  • Cheerleaders wanted:  I've been on MFP for a while, but unfortunately a lot of my friends have fallen off the wagon so to speak and I need people in my corner who will help keep me motivated. I'm 98lbs down and about 60 to go! I don't want to give up now!
  • This is an awesome topic! Ok, first off, people, listen to me. Skin is like elastic, yes, elastic will bounce back but for how long? Have you ever seen a worn out pair of socks or a bra that's been through the dryer one too many times? Ok then, that being said, ladies, wear a BRA! Gravity is not our friend I'm afraid and…
  • Thank you for being brave and posting ALL your pics. I'm inspired and comforted to know I'm not the only one with skin issues. Great job! You look fantastic!
  • I do the hot yoga classes through Core Power and I LOVE it! I feel so good afterward. The stress just melts away, and hopefully so will the pounds!
  • count me in and feel free to add me!
  • A few months after having my last child I went out to eat with my husband and couldn't fit in a booth. That was the last straw for me. • Stress and the stress hormones that follow cause weight gain and weight retention. Perhaps after a very low stress period your body was able to let go.
  • You'll love it! Do wear lightweight comfortable shoes. There are people in my class who actually do this barefoot. I wore bulky crosstrainers my first class (I wouldn't recommend it) and ended up in my socks.
  • Yes, I plan my meals. Not more than one day ahead, but I do plan and map out my calories and pack my "lunch" (I work a 12 hr night shift) accordingly. It really helps me stay on track and make better choices.
  • I don't eat my exercise calories back in general. I do sometimes eat a few of them (via an extra glass of milk or a piece of fruit) if I have a particularly tough work out or I have more than 400 exercise calories that day.
  • Oh believe me I know! I'm an RN and even my co workers (who should know better) are constantly looking for the easy road. There is no easy road. I see lots of patients after bariatric surgery too and I hate to be the one to tell them that it still all comes down to diet and exercise, even after bypass surgery. I've come to…
