Calories first, exceeding my protein goal (100g) second (but almost as important). I also try to keep my carb intake below 150g because I normally find myself hungry on the days I eat more than that (and consequently eat less protein/fat to fit my calorie goal). I tend to keep a eye on sodium, not to restrict it, but to be…

First time I saw a PT we did a fitness test and talked about my past experiences and future goals. A few days later I got a copy of an exercise program and we had a session teaching me proper form on the movements. Since then, I have been seeing him every two weeks or so - he follows my workout, adjusts my form, modifies…

Hey! I am a young person. Yay. And I go to college on the west coast as well, although I am in Europe for the summer. Good luck on your journey!

Hi! I recently joined MFP, and I've got about 60 to 80 lbs to lose (depending on how I feel when I get closer to my goal weight). I am doing weight training, getting back into running and taking a Zumba class a couple times a week. Feel free to add me :)

This is my fourth or fifth time making an account on MFP, and I have always deleted them because I wanted to see that "perfect" record on here. What has been helping me is understanding that even if I overeat by 500 or 1000 calories one day, it is…

Oh, that is simple! I had been wondering if it would still do the calories counting then. Thanks so much!

Had a gym session with a trainer! Did some cycling and running and a bunch of strength training exercises. We went through the program I will be doing on my own, and oh my, I'm in for a fun summer.
