I lost 12 pounds my first month ... and that was when I noticed a difference. Other people didn't notice until I lost over 20 pounds - guess they don't look too close :)

Bought a new winter jacket..was in a L and it looked like a house on me. I ended up buying a S! (Because the M was too big too! Lol)

Congrats! That took a lot of hard work and dedication :) Goals always need to be readjusted to where you feel right. Good luck! Do you have any pictures to share?

I've heard the rule of thumb for optimal weight loss is 75% diet and 25% exercise. IMHO - Make changes slowly or at your own pace. I focused on correcting what I was eating first (with no exercise), and have slowly become more active by walking more, and now have just started to lift at home this month (no gym) - now I am…

I am about 5'8.5" and 42 years old. I was at 135 all through my 20's, so that's my ugw. I am currently down to 148 (from 172), and still have a small "muffin top" and thick hips - I am hoping that the next 13 pounds will remove them, but I need to work on my body recomposition to smooth and firm things up!
