Hmm not that I'm aware of. I'm a college student and I'll be using the pool on campus, not one at a gym.

I completed a 13 mile run for the first time, and now I'm feeling on track to run a half marathon this summer!
-
Thanks everyone!! Your comments mean a lot to me :)

And I didn't put much focus on my macros. I try to get a lot of protein, but I do eat a good amount of carbs (usually at least 50%). I didn't stress over macros at all.
-
It was usually 1350-1500. I exercise a lot though, so I usually ate around 1700

Nice!!

166 vs 125. Still a work in progress!

I have really similar stats! I'm 5'6" and started at 174 lbs. It's been almost exactly a year now, and I'm 124 lbs. I haven't really lost any weight in the last couple months as I'm increasing fitness levels and transitioning into maintenance, so I guess you could say it took me 10 months to get here. I think I'd like to…

AND it's telling me I was under my net calories last week even though I clearly wasn't (it was finals week and I let myself stress eat hahaha)
-
No, this isn't using a Fitbit. I logged all of my food and exercise through MFP and it's telling me that my net calories are 1220 above my weekly goal even though I was only a little bit over twice.

I like to stuff chicken. I don't have the exactly recipe, but hopefully you'll get the idea. I marinate it in lemon pepper marinade or Italian dressing, slice it open, and fill it with fresh spinach, onions, and feta cheese. It's extra good when its sealed up with a slice of bacon

Absolutely! I'm 5'6" and started at 175 lbs. My goal was to get to 150 pounds, since that's the highest weight in the normal BMI range. My next goal was 135 since its about in the middle of the normal range, but when I got there, I still wasn't happy, so I adjusted to 125. I hit 125 yesterday and I think I'm going to try…

I ordered a steak salad in a diner once and they gave me this giant bowl of French fries on top of a small bed of lettuce. It was perfect.
-
I'm a college student too and my routine is very similar. It's a 20 minute walk to campus and some days I'll walk from campus to home 3-4 times. I have mine set to sedentary and then I log time spent walking.
-
Definitely apple shaped. I've always hated my stomach. I went from 174 pounds (I'm probably 165ish in the first picture) to under 125
-
Thanks everyone! I think I'm going to stay at a slight deficit for now and look into starting insanity or some other at-home program (let me know if you have suggestions). I'm training for a half marathon, so the running is going to stay.
-
Thanks so much!! That first picture was taken at the end of June, but I started losing weight about a month before then. I guess it's been 11 months overall now, but as you can see, my weight has plateaued quite a bit over the last month or two (I don't weigh myself often) I've been running a lot lately, and I recently…

I want to run a half marathon. I've been training for a couple months and I'm up to 11 miles at a time now. I'll probably be able to do it sometime within the next couple weeks and then actually run the half marathon at some point this summer.
-
I started at 174 pounds, but this first picture is at 166 pounds. I'm 125 now and still working on toning my stomach

allrecipes.com has everything! It's definitely my go-to site. I made these muffins last night! http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Apple-Lemon-with-Cinnamon-Muffins/Detail.aspx?event8=1&prop24=SR_Title&e11=apple%20lemon%20cinnamon%20muffins&e8=Quick%20Search&event10=1&e7=Recipe&soid=sr_results_p1i1

Not the *last* 10 pounds, but there are 10 pounds between these photos and I'm getting pretty close to my goal!
-
I drink a lot of coffee too and I eased my way into drinking it black. When I started, I always added cream and sugar, but eventually cut the sugar and just used a flavored creamer (which is still full of sugar), but then eventually switched to just skim milk, and now I drink it black.

How long did it take you to get up to 7.5 miles?
-
My stomach has always been my problem area, and I think running makes a difference!
-
Thank so much everyone! I love these stories. I ran a 5k last summer when I was about 40 pounds heavier than I am now and less serious about running (I did it because my friends were doing it). I guess you could say I chose the "go big or go home route" because I'm not really training for a 5k or 10k, just the half…

AWWW thanks so much!!!

166 lbs in the first picture at the end of June. I started at 174 but didn't get a picture. The last picture was taken a couple weeks ago and I'm 126ish lbs! Still working on toning.

Yeah, also all of the acids aren't normal for me. I'm a college student and I'm at home for spring break, so I think the different foods that my parents have instead of what I keep in my apartment could have triggered it.
