Originally I did have around 100 lbs to lose. I lost about 20 lbs before I joined, so still 80 lbs to go. You should friend my wife (jessicajones1022) and I! Together, we will succeed!

I take my body weight, replace pounds with oz. (fluid), cut it in half, and drink that much water daily. That really helps with my hunger, especially in the evenings. You might already be drinking enough, but just a thought.

Truly, I kind of do what my body tells me. I know my target range and I know when I've eaten too much, as well as too little. I usually drink 18 cups of water a day and that helps me keep my calories in check. 1800 is my absolute minimum (non exercise days), but a lot of times 2500 seems like too much. MFP tells me 1900…

I'm glad that there are people from all over the world on this site. That means new ideas/recipes/insights! I'm from Houston, Texas. And P90X is a pretty extreme workout DVD set. It's REALLY popular over here because it's not the easy-fix type of workout plan. It's real! Are there any popular UK workouts?

Trying the carbonated water with juice sounds like a solid idea. There are a lot of juices out there that have no added sugar and no sugar substitute that would work pretty well I think. V8 has a pretty good one (10 calories per serving) good luck! Dustin

@Jacki70 My wife did the Jillian Michaels 30 day shred and lost about 15 lbs. They're great if you don't have much time, and MAN they looked hard! It's like p90x crammed into 20 min. Good luck!! @silkystarfish Thank you!! It is great to have your wife with you sweating like there's no tomorrow!
