That is great news! I have been losing about a pound a week which is what I have targeted. WIth more strength training I should be able to maintain this weight loss.

I would say that it would make it easier. The trikkes that I ride are air tires and I think they can ride on a hard dirt road most likely but probably not a loose gravel road. They also have trikkes that are motor operated and you can ride them manually also. http://www.trikke.com/

You can customize and enter a personal food item with the amount of calories. This way you will have it recorded and saved and only have to figure it out one time. Here is a smoothie I have been making lately and for some strange but good reason it tastes like chocolate! I don't have the proportions that I used so you have to play around with it and adjust for taste. Amazing but true!

Never thought of it but maybe I will get one. I just can not believe that playing 18 holes of golf carrying your own bag would burn over 1400 calories!! It seems totally absurd to me. I think it is more like 500-600 at the very most.

Absolutely you can climb up hills but it will take some training and technique. As a matter of fact there is a very active trikke riding group up in Los Angeles. I think that if we share what smoothies we made and how many calories it has it will make things easier as we go along. Maybe there is a list somewhere of calories in Vitamix concoctions? If anyone needs help with exercise advice I would be happy to help you.
