Many people run on consecutive days. Listen to your body...if your knees, shins, etc. are sore then take a day off and do the elliptical. If you feel fine, then I would not think it would be a problem.

I add cinnamon and splenda, but yeah, it basically sucks.

Well, a new study suggests that it can increase the chances for stroke. That said, I doubt that one or two a day does much harm. Water, obviously, is better. That said, I've found that a diet soda can curb my desire for something bad.

So my BMR is 1860, my MFP goal calories is 1370 to lose 2 lbs / week...does this mean I should be consuming more calories than 1370?

Booze really interferes...it's not only empty calories, it slows down your metabolism. I have the same problem, my buddies love the sauce and really get after me if I'm not boozing right along with them.
