I only read if I have time to burn AFTER a serious workout (the kids want to hit the pool or I have half hour until I pick up someone from somewhere), otherwise I'm like so many who only get a half@ss burn....

I would choose between the two evils :p steak or soup....not both. go some place else if it's just too tempting perhaps can you order a child's plate of steak (tips) & a cup of soup?? you're doing great ... checking with yourself before plunging in :)

Don't worry...unless your child is obese or under-nourished. They really need all those calories to sustain....Americans get too much fat and protein over-all, so make up snacks that help in the veggie and protein... peanut butter on celery or yogurt with fresh fruit should make up for it perfectly.

My daughter attended 11 different schools in 15 years ........... she graduates CS degree this semester. (Master's 12 in 16yrs...?) I feel terribly guilty for it.... & .... incredibly proud of her. Her daddy is Mensa, but I'm sure-the-hell-not.

Yeah...I often lose steam just before the deadline, too. Maybe move your deadline out a couple more weeks :laugh: a hobby really is a good idea....something that keeps your mind busy and makes it difficult to munch along with.

I've completely cut out certain foods from my daily intake ie. breads, tortillas, pastry, rice, most pastas (and red meat), so I don't have to think low-carb. protein is the only cravings-cruncher that gets me to the no-snacking zone try some Morning Star veggie sausage on a personal note, fruit makes me hungrier...the sugars, i guess

first thing...yeap I have much more energy. Make certain to really hydrate well even before (thru the night your body has been fasting), so fuel your workout a good hour before hitting the gym :)

when illiterates use "then" when they really mean "than" #1 I've already eaten ALL my allotted calories for the day, but man was it fabulous!
