I Like the salads in a mason jar. I can make them on Sunday and they are still good on Friday. Googling pulls up a ton of ideas.

I also need to lose over 100 pounds. I am in my fifties and have horrible hip arthritis and I am hoping I will be able to lose the cane if I lose the weight! I am looking for friends who are trying to go plant based and whole food focused. Please feel free to friend me if we can encourage each other.

My most often used smoothie is almond milk, spinach, banana, cacao nibs, flax meal and some frozen strawberries or frozen blueberries.

My carbs are way higher than recommended. I am trying to eat mostly plant based meals and I think that makes the p and f lower.

I honestly did not realize how many of these nibbles I was getting in a day. Cutting up a pineapple I noticed I was popping pieces in my mouth and had probably a half a cup...in the past I would not even remember doing that so MFP is making me more accountable!

Oh my, I used to have deal a meal cards from Richard Simmons! Your post reminded me of that! I found some good lower calorie ideas by searching for smoothies for diabetics. They tend to have fewer carbs.
