SAY "NO" TO LATE NIGHT SNACKING -- JANUARY 2016 CHALLENGE

2016 is here!!! Let's make this a winning month!!
Tired of self-sabotaging by munching after dinner? Upset that you double your in-calories at night? Then it's not just me . To get some help (or inspire us by your good example), please join us in this challenge.
You set what you feel is late night snacking. For example, if you have extra calories left for the day, you can have a snack if it's small. Others decide not to eat at a past a certain time. It's up to you.
We go by the formula:
Me: "number indicating how many evenings you stuck to it"
LNS: "number of times late night snacks won"
Example: Me: 2 - LNS: 0 indicates I won the first two nights.
Some people also add a * to the latest number. In the example, that would be
Me: 2 - LNS: 1*
if LNS won the 3rd night.
It's as simple as that. Or as complicated, as you will discover. Nevertheless, the persistence and good results of some of our "old" members (and some people keep coming back) show that the battle is worthwhile .
You will notice some people post streaks of how many days they are free of late night snacking. This is definitely not a requirement, but if you want to do it for motivation, it works well.
Welcome!

I struggle with this and It derails my whole plan. I do excellent during the day but at night after the kids go to bed the snacks call to me. I have trouble sleeping so that makes it even worse. I am committed to breaking this habit this year, along with giving up my diet soda addiction.0

I totally understand the snacks calling to you thing. I can be in bed after brushing my teeth and will still get up for a snack. I catalog in my mind what is available in the cupboard. I even ask myself "Am I hungry?" and the answer is no. I'm so happy to let this go, it only makes me feel bad a out myself.0 -

Happy New Year's everyone! I blew my long streak last night (61 days) over a piece of cheese and a townhouse cracker! Arghhhhhhh! Oh, well. That's why I like this challenge. It keeps me accountable. So, my goals for the January challenge are:
1. No weeknight snacking after 8 pm.
2. No weekend snacking after 10 pm.
3. Drink only water or tea after cut-off times.
4. Keep sugar-free chewing gum handy at all times. (Sometimes I just have to have SOMETHING to chomp on!)
