Thank you Thaeda

I planned for 2 weeks off but went back after 1 week and a day, worked 2 days, and then had 3 day weekend. then back to full time. I would have gone stir-crazy if I'd stayed home any longer.

For me, while shopping on the 'normal' side of the store may be more fun, it is also much more overwhelming. This has been a challenge for me, but one that I gladly take on.

Well said Pat....just perfectly, magnificently well-said. Thank you.

Wow-you look fantastic!

Thaeda, as usual, you have hit the nail on proverbial head. Thank you for always being willing to share your journey.

Congratulations on great progress in the midst of significant challenges! You're doing great, just keep looking and pressing forward. Oohhhhh that 'i wanna piece of cake' or cookie or chips or whatever-ain't it the devil! Temptation will always be there, sometimes you will push through, sometimes you may give in....and…

You look amazing-strong work!

Thanks for checking in and thanks for the compliment-I kinda like it too! Things have been, shall we say, non-problematic in the last few weeks. The day I wrote about involved an escalation throughout the day involving several individuals. The most egregious encounter and the most frustrating involved an individual that is…

Thank you Thaeda. That is all.

What a great topic! There are some trigger foods that I just cannot keep around--peanut butter is one of them! Now, I can control myself with the natural peanut butter, just not the more processed kinds like Jiff. I do not have a huge sweet tooth but I find that sweet things definitely trigger me on the carb-monster front.…

Thanks-excellent article!

Thanks all. This is a challenging situation involving employees and non-employees and different reporting processes than your normal work environment. Truth is though-I need to be able to address this myself. No, I shouldn't have to, but I need to. And I think normally I would-it came from an unexpected source and I was…

My new year's resolution this year was to learn to accept complements/comments graciously. It has been a challenge but I think I have accomplished that. I do find myself downplaying my weight loss-responding with 'a little bit' to the question/statement of 'you've lost weight!' and I think thats mostly from fear of regain.…

Carb creep-I love this term! Yes yes and yes. Working to maintain focus and not be swayed by old habits and patterns, but its hard. Keep pushing forward, start everyday anew.

Skydiving is next up on my list!!!

Thanks all!

Empty banana peels here....still fit into a DD so with good support they're ok but on their own? I would trip over myself.

Doing great! Keep pushing forward!

I don't have very much to add-everyone has been really spot on. Love the comprehensiveness and wisdom in Rob's post. It is a journey-it does not begin or end with surgery. It is as much about your mind and your heart as it is about your stomach and your metabolism...maybe even more so. I think it is a very big decision,…

You look fantastic! Looks like you had fun shopping too... ;)

Strong work-LOVE the dress!

Great job!

Thats fantastic!!! My biggest one to date is climbing 10 flights of stairs at work without needing ACLS (that's the cpr certification docs and nurses get that allows them to participate in those code blues you see on tv--well, soooooooo not like on tv, but you know what i mean). Looking VERY forward to a soon-to-be NSV…

Work it!

Thank you so much for the responses. It is a daily journey and I am learning much about myself and others through this process. Mango-you are so.very.right. I am not there yet but am a work in progress.

I like my coffee hot, and therefore protein powder does not work very well (clumpy). I find the RTD protein shakes much better suited to this use. It's expensive as coffee creamer, but pretty good for a protein boost!
-
Rob-thank you for sharing! What a fantastic example of what dedication and commitment can do!

Sounds like you've had a rough few days. Dust yourself off and get back to basics-you can do this! As for the coffee-I do a number of cups of decaf/regular every day and use vanilla premier protein as my creamer--30 grams of protein via my daily coffee. Its really not too bad and I actually prefer it now.

Great job! You look fantastic-keep up the good work!
