  • From January 2nd to now, 8 lbs.
  • I allow myself to eat whatever I want on Saturdays. I had pizza last night as well as a few other things I've been eyeing through the week. I didn't gain any weight!!! Crazy!!
  • I try for mostly water, but will go to Seltzer water for carbonation. Diet Dr. Pepper every now and then and coffee every morning. Green tea and SO Organic coconut milk. I add the Dasani water flavors to make regular water taste a little better. They are so good and no calories!! Red wine on the weekends.
  • Started level 2, day 11 today. That is a TOUGH one. Don't be discouraged. I even had to remind myself the other day that it took months to put this on, it won't come off in a week or two. That said, I ALWAYS see noticeable results by Day 20 doing the shred. It is worth it!!
  • I understand about snacking. My goal is nothing after dinner. Only water. I've also cut out all sodas. Seltzer water only for me because I like the carbonation.
  • I am sore 3-4 days and then it get better A lot of times when you start working out, your weight may go up due to water retention. Muscles hold onto water at first to repair. Drink a ton of water and don't weigh yourself until the end of the first week.
  • I took a day off after day 5 and finished Day 7 this morning. I felt very strong. Is anybody else still doing this?
  • Woot, I love it when clothes start fitting better!!! My only progress right now is feeling stronger and beginning to notice my bras aren't as tight.
  • I hope he feels better and 4:30, ouch....DH was home again today so i actually slept in until 7:30 and am getting ready to workout. Next week is going to be a rough transition with him at work all the time and juggling so much pretty much by myself. Gearing up for Day 4. Oh and yesterday was my middle son's birthday so my…
  • Day 4...I can walk a little better today and my arms feel MUCH better. :) Gearing up for this mornings workout... Good luck with the Revolution and let me know how you like it!!
  • Got the boys off to school and getting the motivation up to do Day 2 of the shred. I am so sore from yesterday, lol. Workout, then Katie has a dr. appt then a speech eval this afternoon.
  • I'm sorry, my IDOB name is Tophersmom. Not much sleep last night. lol
  • I can't fit into most of my clothes right now and I really want to be able to go into my closet, pick out an outfit and not worry about feeling self conscious or try to "hide" those areas I want hidden. I've really picked up weight over the past 6 months and I'm just tired of it. We belong to a private pool and the boys…
  • Tracy, I'm in the same boat as you. I do great beginning of the year then I hit depression or whatever and gain it all back. I'm the heaviest I've been in years. :( 5'10" Starting at 164 hoping to get to 144.

  • Hi Everyone! Do you have room for 1 more??? I love the idea of this group. I will be 42 in Oct and have 3 kids, 7, 5 1/2 and almost 4 and I definitely do not feel my age. I need to stay fit and healthy to keep up with the little ones and still have energy for my GNO with my closest friends. Anyway, I am 5'10", 158 lbs. and…
  • I use the polar HRM and burn anywhere between 200-225 for each level.
  • JM Fan here! I alternate between dvd's depending how much time I have. I have the 30DS, No More Trouble Zones, Banish Fat, Boost Metabolism (my favorite this week) and Ripped in 30. I feel I burn so many more calories compared to other dvd's. Definitely worth the time and the dvd's aren't expensive at all.
  • I'm 5"10 and my weight fluctuates between 153 and 159. My goal weight is between 135 - 145.
  • I've also had mine for a few weeks and love it!!!
  • Great post!!!!!
  • I did the yoga meltdown yesterday and burned about 170 calories. I used a HRM.
  • I just finished week 1/day 5 today. I had to take a rest day yesterday because I worked out 6 days straight but ended up doing JM Yoga Meltdown. I felt really, really strong this morning. Two more days on level 1 then onto level 2 on Thursday. I'm a little scared to go to level 2 now, lol. Good luck!!!
  • I'm on Day 5 and had to take a rest day after day 4. I love this dvd and I burn about 60-75 more calories doing ripped in 30 vs. the shred. I'm moving to level 2 soon and can't wait! I didn't lose a ton of weight doing the shred, but it reshaped my body and lost a lot of inches. I see/feel a difference already with this…
  • I did the 30ds a few times and I felt the same about level 2. The Ripped in 30 has some different exercises and doesn't seem as repetitive to me, although I haven't even looked at level 2 yet.. I also burn more calories during the ripped workouts. I'm impressed you didn't need a rest day. I usually need a day after every…
  • I received my Polar HRM last week and found that MFP overestimated the number of calories burned for me. I was surprised how much I did actually burn vs. what MFP calculated. The walking/running calculations are more accurate vs.other workouts, i.e. dvds, weights... I never go by the machines at the gym and read that you…
  • I make them myself. Usually with yogurt and/or coconut milk, scoop of whey protein and a banana/strawberries or blueberries.
  • Hi Everyone!! I'm Diane, will be 42 in the Fall and have three children, ages 6 3/4, 5 and 3 1/2. I have been a member of this…
  • Day 11 - Level 2 here. I was so sore the first 4-5 days of level 1 then it did get a lot easier by the 10th day. I moved to level 2 today and I am feeling it. It is very tough, but you do get amazing results! I did it for 45 days last year and really got into shape. Now to keep going and not fall off the workout wagon…
  • Hi Everyone! I'm 5'10, weighed 148.00 this morning and my goal is to get to 135. My problem areas are my hips, butt and thighs so I am working out. That is the only way for me reshape my body, lots of lunges, squats and weights as well as walking/running, etc.... I would be happy to be in the low 140's and inches smaller…
