Hey guys,
So I just did lvl 1 of the yoga meltdown and 30ds, and I'm wondering- how do you guys keep track of how many calories you burnt? unfortunately I don't have a HRM, so keep track using that is not an option
I was thinking for the yoga meltdown I would just track as 30 mins of yoga, but considering it's not really the stereotypical static yoga moves, that doesn't really seem right...
Please let me know what you guys think
Thanks!

I log 30ds as "circuit training general"0

Found this on Spark people. I like it for estimates of Jillian's DVD Library:
**JILLIAN'S WORKOUT TYPES BY TITLE...
The Biggest Winner Series(all) = cardio @ high intensity
30 Day Shred = circuit training
No More Trouble Zones = circuit training
Banish Fat Boost Metabolism = cardio @ high intensity
TBL Power Sculpt = circuit training
TBL Last Chance Workout = circuit training
Yoga Meltdown = circuit training
Shred-It = circuit training (use a kettlebell or dumbbell)
6 Week 6 Pack = strength (so you can track each exercise in the workout)
Ripped in 30 = circuit training0 -
Awesome list
I would have never thought of it as circuit training... I consider that to be Curves, and I really didn't like those workouts
Thanks guys0 -

I do 30DS as circuit training and the yoga usually I put it as yoga but I up the calories. I looked around for what other people burned on average (100-300 calories or so) so I put it as 200 calories.0

I personally would not log yoga meltdown as circuit training - I burned less doing that than I did with 30 day shred or ripped in 30. MFP has a 'yoga' option in the database.0

I did the yoga meltdown yesterday and burned about 170 calories. I used a HRM.0
