I struggle with moderating my "sweets" quite a bit. I don't cut anything out of my diet but sweets are definitely something I have to actively avoid from time to time to keep myself in check. They are my Kryptonite. I would love to have some friends on my list to help me fell held accountable. Please add me. Thanks.

Do almost no cardio and start lifting weights. Make your body believe it needs the muscle. And yes, stevencloser is correct. Body fat estimations tools are almost always inaccurate. They can be used, even if completely correctly, as only a rough guide to gauge your upward or downward trend.

Calculate your lean body mass and determine how much protein to eat based on that number. This is the right way to calculate your needed protein intake. MFP uses percentages which is not the right method. Find the correct number and then choose whatever percentage on MFP that is the closest.

If you want to quit then quit, if you want to progress the keep putting in the work. You can workout all you want but it won't make a bit of difference if your not eating less calories. Not on terms of fat loss anyway. Workout, eat right, be patient.....PERIOD!!!

No one can give you advice on how much to eat without knowing your stats. age, sex, height, weight and activity level. However there is nothing wrong with the Macro split that you mentioned that is how most people eat in good shape. However the right way to figure out how much protein to have is to calculate your number…

You need to eat more foods that don't take your calories away as you go throughout your day. Fill up on low calorie foods like veggies, pickles, fruits and so forth so you will feel fuller but not go over on calories. So long story short.......eat better foods.

I am the type of guy that has gone and done chest or arms when I had a broken ankle or did legs when I had a neck/shoulder issue. I don't let things stop me anymore. However there is common sense. We all have to manage our health with sensibility. If your legitimately unable to work out then don't. If you need time to heal…
