If you eat mostly plant based, mostly greens, you will find out that you will need to eat a lot. If you watch your nutrition that can be a good thing. (Beware, a little talked about fact, vegetarian/vegans can eat just about every peace of junk food on the planet) Good luck, fresh is best

I've cut as much pre processed food as possible. Which pushed me to a more plant based diet. It's true, fresh is best.

Try no preprocessed food. All that's left is usually healthy and lower in calories.

Check out Dr joel Fuhrman's books like eat to live or end of dieting. Lots of good dietary ideas that won't break the bank. Like you when I reduced the meat in my diet I struggled with the protein issue.

I bought a pressure cooker this year. Makes quick work cooking up chicken breast. I keep what I'm going to use this week in the fridge, and freeze what I'm going to use next week. Use Ziploc bags and get as much air out as you can before freezing and they'll be good for a couple of weeks.
