  • I did my A and B workouts this week. I was intimidated by the bench press and OHP, since my upper body isn't as strong as my lower body and I was worrying I wouldn't have been able to do the minimum weight, but I was able to do both and it was fairly easy so I'm not as bad off as I thought I would be. It will be hard to…
  • Holy boob avatar. I just downloaded the work out. I'll read before I start asking dumb questions....
  • I've been doing NROL as well and came upon this. I'm going to read into and think I may switch at some point. I am enjoying NROL, but I think doing this one will help me track my progress better.
  • How often are all of you getting to the gym a week?
  • Also when you're doing deadlifts keep your chin up, that helps keep your back aligned. Also when lifting keep the bar as close to your legs as possible. People who seriously strength train usually have scrapes or redness because they hold them so closely. Big leg drive with the heels of your feet, don't push off your toes.…
  • I've been on it in the past and yes it has helped me with the food cravings and wanting to eat less for sure.
  • Same boat here. Darn near the same weight too. I haven't conquered it, but I've looked closely at what is causing the binges and that has helped. It's a lot of emotion based eating. As soon as a craving hits me I try to occupy myself with something else, especially because sitting on the couch watching tv seems to…
  • Guilty! After 9 is my quiet time and I often like to watch a tv show with Dh before bed. LET THE SNACKING COMMENCE! I've found to avoid that I have to keep my hands busy and/or chew gum. Those seem to help a lot. Especially if I spend time doing my nails or get tangled up in a ball of yarn.
  • I just spent a week on vacay and was SURE I would come back with a few lbs on. I didn't! I went in with the attitude that I was going to stay active as possible and allow myself treats, but not to spend all day, every day eating like I would normally do. Cut yourself slack and have what you'd like when it's most enjoyable…
  • Beg to differ....changing the shape of your body is done easily through weight training.
  • Just started phase 1 yesterday. I've been lifting awhile now, but needed some new direction. I'm hoping to see some good results!
  • Apparently you don't need a big stock of "F". I have a Fiona at home.
  • I increase my weight. I want muscle and more weight = more muscle.
  • I'm quite new to it, but it doesn't have much of a taste at all. It would be comparable to rice I would say. It takes on the other flavors you are cooking with it.

  • http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Quinoa-and-Black-Beans/Detail.aspx I've been making this recipe by the boatload once a week and taking it for lunches during the week, just eliminating the corn. I looooooove it.

  • I'm agreeing with the people who commented on the bottoms. If you walk around with your head held high you can get away with the suit, except that the bottoms make you look bigger than you are. You need something with a higher cut on the leg. Even a tie side would be fine as it is thinning for the leg, just get a size that…
  • I did see that a group of people on this site are using it. I am curious about their results. I'll have to nose around a bit and pick up a copy I think.
  • 1. 33 years I'm naturally a pear, however, I had some enhancements added to the top half of me that balance me out to a hourglass. It's much less noticeable now if I throw on 10lbs than it was before.
  • I want muscle, strength and shape, not so interested in endurance. I use primarily free weights, but do use the smith machine for my squats. Some days if I'm completely braindead I'll use a few of the machines, but I try to stay away from them. I've been trying to lift heavy and do 3 sets of 10. With my squats I try to…
  • I think it's different for everyone. I've had two and prior to that I was 50lbs overweight. I'm now at a healthy weight (although not my exact goal) and my abs are flat as a board, no pooch. When I work hard you can see definition, but I'm not entirely a fan of the six pack look on myself. I want firm, not manly.
  • Unless you have to be out someplace before the next nap I say wait til the next one. I don't think it's really that big of a deal. Wipe down a bit if you really worked up a sweat to get through.
  • I'm making it my goal this weekend to take measurements and if I can brave up and take a few pics.
  • At first glance I though this topic said "Catholic Rant".
  • Just got mine yesterday! I'm starting tonight. I don't think I'm going to do it in 30 days straight, more on the days I don't go to the gym... as supplement to that, can I still play?!
  • I'm open, but maybe not the best example....
  • Someone else gave me the link on another thread. Here it is: http://figureathlete.t-nation.com/free_online_article/training/kiss_bodybuilding_workouts_goodbye
  • Ok I have that, whew! Thanks!
