  • I would say it's a good idea to check with your vet. I know that TPLO surgery is a pretty big deal and every case is different. Being a smaller breed her may do better with running. My in-laws pit bull had that surgery on both knees and I don't think they could take her on regular runs. She's about a year out and had a…
  • I also just finished week 1! I've done a P90X/Insanity hybrid, but this is my first time doing *just* Insanity all the way through. I can't wait to see the results. Great job on making it through week 1!
  • You're welcome. I hope that was somewhat helpful, lol. Feel free to add me as a friend if you want :)
  • Very inspiring! You look amazing, and I'm so glad you are happier, too. Being physically fit and mentally fit just go so well together :) Congratulations!
  • WOW - You look so beautiful!! All shiny and happy :D Congratulations on all your hard work paying off!
  • Keep up the great work!! You are doing so well, and looking so good! Best of luck on your first 5k!
  • WOW!! You dropped 15 years along with that 80lbs! Great job!! Thanks for sharing your pics and your story. Very inspirational!
  • You are doing a fantastic job and I see a HUGE difference!! Keep it up girl, you are an inspiration!
  • If you eat clean you will lose weight, but you won't be toned at all! I lost my initial 50lbs with calorie restriction and then I stopped losing and was flabby. I really didn't want to exercise, but once I got started and just decided to stick to it I now really enjoy it. Mostly because I'm seeing such great results and I…
  • When that happens, start with the very next meal! I've also found it helpful to allow myself some "fun food" everyday, rather than splurging on a "cheat meal". Tonight we had papa murphy's take and bake and I got myself a healthy pizza (as healthy as pizza from papa murphys can be), and I had a very thin slice of the kids…
  • One day at a time! I agree with the poster above - it's ok to do it slowly. Make one change at a time if it seems too overwhelming to make huge changes all at once. It's taken my over 2 years to get where I am now, which is 10lbs from my goal weight. This site is a great tool! Use it!
  • Way to go!! You've come so far. Keep it up!
  • You are doing great!! I can see a big change in your face already. Keep up the hard work, it will pay off immeasurably.
  • Wow! Congratulations! You are doing a fantastic job - keep it up!
  • Can you try going to bed earlier? Sometimes if I'm having trouble not snacking, and I'm not really tired yet I will brush my teeth! Then turn most of the lights off and read or play games on my phone. If you need more external motivation try browsing the success story forum here. Or go to teambeachbody.com and read the…
  • Thanks everyone!! I've received a few friend requests since posting this and I LOVE that! Feel free to add me if you want to chat :)
  • I love this article. It give me hope: http://www.bodyfatguide.com/LooseSkin.htm I have lost 85lbs and my stomach is a mess, but I know it will get better. If I can get my body fat low enough then it won't make my skin hang. I'm aiming for 12% so I can have abs :) Best of luck! We can ALL do this!
  • Wow, thank you ALL! I'm so happy I can inspire some of you with my pictures and story. Coming here and seeing other people's success has certainly kept me going.
  • Thank you everyone! It feels amazing. I do feel like a totally different person. I can't wait to see how I look and feel after Insanity!
  • Congratulations!! You look amazing!
  • Hope these pictures work... (Edit to add: I tried various formats but couldn't get them working. I will leave links for now and try to figure out picture posting tomorrow.) This is me at my heaviest: 260lbs at 5'10" http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v342/Lindsayloulou/?action=view&current=MyBeforePicture.jpg This is me…
  • I just started P90X today and I love it :) No results just yet, but with the amount of push up and pull ups I did today there is no way I won't have more muscle definition in 90 days. I hope someone with a little more experience can offer a good reply for you, but thought I'd throw in a vote for P90X.
  • You got great results! Congratulations!
  • I am a 36F and what I did was bought a low impact and a high impact sports bra from Walmart and I wear them both at the same time. 1 sports bra alone just isn't strong enough to hold my big ole' boobies in place. I think I bought size 2X (they didn't go by cup size). Good Luck!
