  • Hey :) I'm a vegetarian (made the change fairly recently, no meat, fish or milk, will have eggs only occasionally...cheese is my ultimate downfall) I also love to experiment with different foods and eat as clean as I can most days. Feel free to have a look at my diary :) would love more vegetarian/vegan friends!
  • Really well done on your progress! I'm 13lbs away from my goal. I have a back injury so I know my progress will be slow. I'm doing really well with eating right but getting exercise in has always been a downfall of mine. An accountability buddy would be great :) feel free to add me!
  • Feel free to add me too. I love my fitbit and would love to get involved in some challenges! V.bailey1842@gmail.com :)
  • Ooh me too! V.bailey1842@gmail.com :) accountability is definitely lacking for me at the moment!
  • I'd be interested in the answer to this! I love in a really remote area so races are out for me too but would love to do a virtual one if I could!
  • I like noom coach and pedometer, works well for me :)
  • I agree with lightly active, depending on what activity level you were used to before uni. I went to a huge campus uni and lost weight purely by walking between lectures and my dorm every day. I would definitely recommend you get a pedometer to work out your average steps. I'm a sales manager now and stood up all day but…
  • That's awesome time!! I finished c25k a couple of weeks ago, would love to get the zombie run app it sounds really fun. Can't wait to get doing a real 5k race, I want to get to the 30min mark from the 36min I'm at now.
  • I agree with all of the above. Especially that for me it's more mental than physical. Yesterday's run I spent the first 20 mins saying I would stick to my shorter route and try harder next time as I really wasn't feeling it, I got stomach pains, acid and just couldn't get into it at all. Around mile 2 I gave myself a pep…
  • Great attitude and great results so far! Keep up the good work. I have 20lbs to go out of 30lbs recovering from a back injury, feel free to add me :)
  • I would definitely say group activities, roller derby, play tennis, go play catch in a park, anything to get moving. My OH and I have a 'no tv if its light out' so over the months we have found random things to do, rediscovered all the kids games we used to play. Frizbee is my favourite. Also agreed with the toddler…
  • You are an inspiration. I broke my back 10 years ago and went through a similar rehab, whilst unable to walk I also started eating and gained around 40lbs. A couple of years ago I decided the less I weigh, the less my back needs to carry around. I still have days (like today) where walking is a challenge but I'm 7lbs down…
  • I really wanted one when I first heard about them, but I'm starting to think they are just really expensive pedometers, I downloaded a free pedometer app on my phone and bought a polar hrm for $20 and it seems to do the job, I've lost more consistently since combining the two. The band looks cool on your writ though...
  • Aah ok, thank you for the clarification. The article I was reading must have misinterpreted or misrepresented the data. I thought it sounded odd to say it was 'healthy', which is really such a general categorisation, thinking about it.
  • I completely nap too much, and sleep a lot at night. It definitely slows metabolism down the way I do it but for it sounds like you're catching up on well needed rest, being sleep deprived can be detrimental to weight loss too. I also have nexplanon implant and my cycles are crazy and have been for over 2 years. Since I've…
  • That's it, from now on, I'm not overweight, I have muscular hips :p
  • My partner and I have been using airbnb for about a year now, stayed in some pretty awesome places and met some lovely people. Make sure they have reviews wherever you stay. We haven't had a bad or even mediocre experience yet! Have fun!
  • I love it :) I wish you could link it to mfp though!
  • I think high calorie breakfasts are good as they fuel you when you need it. Im on around 1400 a day, 400-500 is breakfast, 300 for lunch and 600 for dinner and snacks. If you lok atmy diary it doesn't always work out like that but that's what I aim for. I find if I don't eat a lot for breakfast I over eat the rest of the…
  • Almost 30 but going to a wilderness retreat for a month so don't know if they will have regular wifi. Amazing work and dedication for those in and near to the 3 and 4 figure streaks!
  • Hi, I have 3 herniated disks and nerve damage in my lower back, I had cortisol injections and a few other large needles and surgery that helped over the past 5 years. My PT was also well into yoga and tai chi techniques which I do every morning and evening and gaian before any exercise. I have good days where I can run 5k…
  • 25 here, only furbabies and farm animals on my agenda :) I work a farm if that helps explainthe previous statement :) definitely no kids yet! Always need new friends :)
  • Hey :) I started ages ago and am definitely a week repeater. I'm on week 4 day 2 at the moment. ..I'm sure I'll finish it one day. I'm hoping to do a 5k in October :)
  • Me! Anyone feel free to add me too :) I'm 5'4'', heaviest was 170, currently hovering between 155-158lbs, this is my 3rd attempt to get down to 130lbs in the last 4 years...lowest I got was 149. Definitely determined but really need accountability buddies!!! :)
  • Thanks guys :) yeah we are here until the start of August. The next workaway we do we will get groceries inuded but will be cooking for ourselves so that will be easier. I've learnt my lesson, losing weight on a dairy farm is difficult! Thank goodness I'm not a fan of wine too hehe :) Not heading back home til December but…

  • I can definitely sympathise. During my weightloss I've lost 6inches off my waist, 3 off each leg but less than .5 of an inch off my arms, it's easy to get self conscious. Agree with previous posts, and have found to an extent that the only person who thinks a part of them is icky/abnormal is the person who's part it is :)…
  • Hi Jessica :) I'm Vix. I know it can be overwhelming, I've quit twice and starting again for a 3rd time with 3 times as much determination. Feel free to add me, it is always great to have accountability buddies :)
