  • Really you just have to find a caloric restriction that works best for you. Call it what you want either atkins or whatever but in the end it will still be a caloric restriction. Diets are just paths and rules to get you there. Good luck with it. Most if not all of us are on the same path as you.
  • Great job.
  • It has nothing to do with disagreeing. That of course is more than exceptable. It has to do with the fact that when your opinion belittles someone elses thought process, you are out of line. Once again the OP didnt ask what their opinion was on taking pills they simply asked what specific ones worked for them. Never did…
  • Most of you all are missing the point here. The OP didnt ask who approved of diet pills or "lets take a poll" she simply asked if poeple had any success with them. Those of you that decided to turn this into a rant about why they arent good for you or why they wont work is the reason this post turned into a complete mess.…
  • finish the program because its a really good one. The knees will get better with time. The key is to not injure yourself in the process. So what you have to ask yourself is if you are injured or are you hurt? If your injured you should stop and take some time off until your better. If your hurt, then just push through it.…
  • hook the transmitter on the strap and wet the back of the strap that goes against your chest directly on the opposite side of the transmitter. Wash THE STRAP every 3rd workout in the washing machine.
  • I am a vibram man myself. barefoot all the way. Somedays i feel that i could run forever.
  • Please dont listen to these people on here. Shop around and dont feel obligated to buy from the place that fits you. Thats what they are there for. You may not be able to buy from the local sears but i assure you that you WILL be able to find the exact pair online for much cheaper. My mom got fit at a shoe speciality place…
  • No you dont have to buy them there. Dont feel bad for trying to save yourself some money. If you were looking to buy a new car and went a picked a salesman's ear only to find it cheaper somewhere else, would you still buy from him? I bet not. Get the advice that you need and look around for the best price. No shame in that.
  • bump for later
  • True but you cant complain that your not losing the weight then. You can argue this anyway that you like. To lose weight you need a deficit regardless of where you are at on your personal goal status. She asked for a solution, not a reason.

  • I would take a look at what workouts you are doing and make sure that it isnt muscle building of great measuers. Other than that i am not a person of " starvation mode " i believe that at times your body adjusts to what you are giving it. If you are going to work out 5 days a week and have a caloric deficit of 400 cals…

  • And how much do you think that she gets done by sitting at a desk? If you want to base your caloric intake and output on your BMR, go ahead. If you want to be serious and lose the 10 pounds then listen to what i am saying. There is no reasonable way that you could count each activity that you do throughout the day and log…

  • Cant say which is better because as always you get out of what you put in.
  • At 64 kg that converts to 140 pounds. So that means that your body will burn 1400 cals a day just by being awake. If MFP puts you at 1200 cals that makes a deficit of 200 cals per day or 1400 per week. If you do the math thats less than a half a pound per week. Not of course taking in your activity. I dont know what you…

  • Sounds about right to me. I am bigger than you are and for the most part i tend to burn about 1000 cals an hour. However with p90x or spin class i do generally hit the 1200 cal mark.
  • Really depends on the machine. I find that MFP does a fantastic job at getting the cals pretty close. I use a HRM and even when i log with that the cals that MFP gives is pretty close. So if you dont have a HRM, use MFP's calculations and you wont go wrong.
  • Lost 32 pounds in 8 weeks
  • Not sure what is expensive but i have the polar FT4 and its great.. Costs about 70.00 on amazon.
  • If you cant do this for your kids than there is nobody on here that will get you to do it. Seek motivation from them and ask yourself if they are worth it. Seriously.
  • do yourself a favor and dont waste your money on a pc. Spend the extra cash and get a mac. It wont let you down and it will run as strong 7 years from now as the day you bought it. Plus save on antivirus programs because macs dont need them. Even the apple salesperson wont try to sell you any because they know they dont…
  • because why workout and burn cals and then just put them back in your mouth. That would just be a waste of time when it comes to weight loss. They idea for most is that if you work out you will get ahead of the game by burning more cals then you were "supposed" to. Wanting to eat the cals back sounds like what got us in…
  • I have never wore it in a pool however i sweat likei am in one and its fine. Its a great HRM.
