I am seriously wanting a HRM (heart rate monitor). However, I am looking for one that is not super expensive or really difficult to use. Can someone who has the experience or has a good one give me advice or recommend one? Thanks.

That's funny, I asked this exact question just a couple hours ago lol What *I* decided from the reponses I got, and further research, I personally decided on the Polar Ft4... check it out on Amazon.com, and if it doesn't sound good to you, type in "heart rate monitor" in the search bar in Amazon and check out all the ones they have. I think I'm pretty set on the Polar ft4 though, it sounds great!!

  • i just got the polar FT7 today, I didn't open the instruction book at all to set up the watch, it was all pretty well self explanatory, i did have to open it to check out how the strap works though. i've had it on for about 5 minutes now and its not at all uncomfortable, does feel a lil odd for me to be wearing a watch, i don't usually wear one. Admittedly it did cost me $100, normally $150 in Aus, but well worth it.

I just bought a BIOS HRM, it's waterproof to 30m so I wear it in the pool (watch and chest strap). Got it on the internet for $30, normally $80. Works great!
