i really really wish i could get the universe to take scale weight less seriously. you do not have a weight. you have a weight range. on average it goes 3.5 pounds above or below a median at any given time. when you weigh yourself daily, which i do so i can understand what my average is, you can look at it one of two ways…

um. survival of the species.... pretty much the most basic of our instincts.

sambal oeleck hands down. not sure its really a hot sauce though but its a chili paste/sauce.

i should add, i also believe in not taking onesself too seriously. i try to do something every day, but it doesnt have to be a marathon./ sometimes walking to target or trader joes is plenty. just keep moving and dont eat too much. lol. some kind of tracker like a fitbit is helpful too, helps to let you know how much or…

find something you like. it will always be a chore to do things that are boring. i tried a million things since i started and ended up with running (which i love for the zone out, and ability to keep time ith my music in footfalls and endorphins). biking, one real bikes. fake bikes are tedious as anything, tennis, weight…

so... he doesnt eat much and he exersizes all day. thats not naturally thin, its circumstantial. if you dont have the same circumstances you wont have the same result. change your circumstances and you will. simple as that. simple... not necessarily easy, but simple. no reason to be hatin.

my TDEE was 2200 ish and my rate of weight gain was a pound a month or so, and i was sedentary at home but i walk everywhere and dont drive so when i did go out i out i put in around 7000-10,000 steps a day... so... (mathing here) if i went out 4 times and burned 250 calories a day witha tdee of 2200... (and i am…

thats why i dont plan cheat days. i never know if i will REALLY feel like eating or not so i end up feeling guilty if i do. i just have an eat more day when i want... which is not that often, every few weeks maybe. most of the time i can make things fit. i also dont call them cheating. just eating. its just food.

i feel your post and the subsequent posts of others. i think about that all the time. i figure as soon as i start shaming myself for what i do, its a sure sign i am ABOUT to fail. giving myself a break, i believe, is the number one reason i have succeeded this far this time. because before i would take one day of my…

i weigh myself every day and like it. it gives me a very clear idea of how fickle scale weight can be, and lets me see what is actually happening... where if i step on once a week or month the daily fluctuations could make me think i am doing better or worse than i actually am. i do not obsess on the numbers though, and if…

i dont like much when people talk to me on the floor... cause i am in the zone, yep. but classes are a great place to meet people. people tend to be a lot more open to conversation is a setting that is group oriented.

you are eating a lot of calories for breakfast. even if 50% of the oil evaportated, which is unlikely given that its oil, you would still be eating a ton of calories for breakfast. so... if you are watching calories... you may need to rethink pancakes or do as suggested and get a better recipe or turn down the heat. when i…

i have to say... i see people reading on the treadmill all the time. i tried it a few times and couldnt concentrate on a single paragraph... i can read on a sit down machine but on a treadmill... no. my brain is trained to pay attention to where i am going, even if it is nowhere slowly... maybe before doing something like…

uh.... this thread is kinda sad. 1. sex is not currency. 2. your husband is not a child, he should know what he wants and it may or may not be fitness to the same extent as you. 3. not all men are the same just like all women are not the same 4. if sex is thre reward if a goal isnt met does that mean it is withheld? didnt…

first of all. the simple but effective gifs in this thread are tres amusant. also the tails in crunchy rolls are the stupidest things EVER> second. my son loves to watch " monsters inside me" which is a series about parasites. its gross. but before i get all paranoid and start swearing off food and sandboxes for life i…

heres my deal, people can argue with me if they want. i think... that you should start by weighing some things, especially calorie dense things like meat, cheese, bread... so that you get the idea of what you are looking at. but... eventually you can trust yourself when you cant always get to a scale... unless you cant....…

1. you arent doing anything wrong in your exersize routine... weights, cardio etc. all good. but they arent what make you lose weight, they get you fit so you look good when you lose it, and let you eat a bit more food. 2. weight comes off fast at first if there is a lot of weight to lose and you decrease your calories…

i took off sodium as one of my tracked macros because there is a limit to what i will let myself stress over. i dont track my water either. frozen food, prepared food, so much sodium is everywhere unless i wanted to make everything from scratch it would just drive me crazy... thats me.
