Yes I would trust it. That's exactly where I wear mine and I think the numbers are quite accurate especially if you are in calorie fat burning zone. I love my HRM!

I was very skeptical about eating my exercise calories back. I thought it would be a recipe for disaster. Anotther thing I did is stayed off the scale all week. I think I need to be eating a bit more but I am netting around 1200 calories a day. Just need to expand my food choices a bit :-)

Good luck to you...even though it has nothing to do with luck :-) its hard work and it does take time but you can do this! The website is amazing and the support is incredible. I hope this is a great tool for you to get to your goal.

I am burning around 500 calories daily just walking. I have a HRM so I know my readings are accurate. I walk anywhere from 45-75 minutes each day. Not all at once. It is broken up due to my work schedule. It works and it is cardio, it burns a lot of calories.

subway is my only fast food and that has become a treat in itself. I dont really even want the other stuff. I probably get subway about 1 time every 2 weeks.

walking is cardio- therefore it is exercise and should be counted. Walking is the best thing I do. It burns a lot of calories. I agree with you. I also only count other activities if my heart is really working out and it is out of the ordinary.

log everything you eat. be honest with yourself. drink a boatload of water. get moving.

I have a water bottle that holds 20 ounces. I take it everywhere with me. It has a dial on it that helps me keep track of how much I have drank. My goal is 6 of those during my workday and then at least 1 more after I get home. But I have also never really struggled to drink water but it is a nifty water bottle :-)
