yes, if I eat beef I will wake up in the middle of the night in a sweat as my body tries to digest it, only happens when I eat beef.

Even if the scale isn't moving a lot, give yourself credit for sticking to your eating plan. If the scale seems to be stuck ( happening to me right now) give yourself a fitness goal like walking an extra 30 minutes, or something like that.

Sticking mostly with turkey and veggies, maybe a small portion of mashed potatoes

I set a goal for myself and accomplished it. I took control over something that I thought I had no control over ( my eating). Makes me thing about many other goals I still would like accomplish.

same here, I weigh myself daily because this works best for me personally. In Oct I went 2 almost 3 weeks with nothing them the scale started moving again and I am down 4 lbs.

I'll log, I am going to take a break from achieving a calorie deficit but I do want to keep track of how many calories I am at before Thanksgiving dinner.

Talk to a therapist, your self esteem should not be so tied to your body image ( easier said than done I know)

I am grateful to have a good job, although stressful. I am grateful that I don't turn to food to deal with that stress anymore.

Maybe you need to address some of your emotional reason you eat ( believe me, I have tons of them). If events throw you off it doesn't quite matter which plan you are following.

allowed myself to go cloths shopping after I hit the 20 lbs lost mark. It was awesome to buy pants and shirts in a size lower than last year at this time. And I bought jeans.....jeans and I didn't have to stuff myself into them like a sausage.

Daily, but I don't get to concerned about small fluctuations, +/- 1 lbs, and I don't consider myself to be at a "new weight" until I see that number for at least 3 days in a row. This just helps me personally to stay on track.

Sorry you are nor happy with your body, try being a little more accepting of yourself. Taking some of the pressure off yourself might help you handle all of this a little better. Try just being proud of what you have accomplished so far and take credit for exercising and eating well. I am not saying this is how you feel,…

what worked for me: calorie deficit for weight loss, period. I was 60 lbs overweight exercising 3-4 times a week and eating healthy ( no junk or processed food) you can be overweight eating no carbs if you are taking in more calories than you burn, period.

flanks steak or skirt steak juice of 1-2 limes 1 jar salsa place whole steak in bottom of crock pot, add lime juice and salsa. Cook on low for 6-8 hours depending on how your crock pot cooks. Makes wonderful Mexican flavors shredded beef for tacos, burritos, etc.
