Which is why all the men who don't shave their armpits are incapable of being anything but stinky and dirty. Personally I shave my armpits more often than my legs but get pretty hairy before I bother doing either. My husband seems to be able to suppress his gag reflex enough to still want to sleep with me.

I spend between £80 and £100 (including toiletries/cleaning supplies etc) and that is for a family of 5.

I bought a bumbag to put my phone in - worked pretty well :) I did try in my bra but it would bounce out while I was jogging so I ended up running along clutching my bosom as though I was about to keel over

Every time someone clicks on a Daily Mail link a fairy dies.

Twice a day, once when I wake up and just before I go to bed. I only log it once a week (on Sundays) and only log if there's been a loss. I have other apps that I use to chart my daily weight changes

Just started watching The Shield, it's good.

This is the most pedantic stupid argument in the world.

Same happens to me. As long as it's not abnormal or sore or anything when it does come I'd not worry about it.

I had my gallbladder out a couple of years ago and I've not noticed any difference at all (except now I don't spend a couple of nights a week up for hours wanting to shoot myself to get away from the intense pain). Edit: I only disagree with you because you are presenting your experiences as the way that life will be after…

breathing, pumping blood round the body, etc :) You use a certain amount just by existing, that's your BMR. Then you use more by being active.

QFT = Quoted for Truth (i.e. I agree with this post) Caloric deficit is calorie deficit with a spelling mistake (I assume). It means eat less than you burn. Edit: or is caloric a different way of saying calorie like a different tense? I've not heard it before but assume it's the same thing.

for the last couple of months my weight has been up one week then down the next; week 1 - 156 week 2 - 152 week 3 - 154 week 4 - 151 week 5 - 152 week 6 - 148 etc. It was annoying to start but it's still going down on average so it's not really an issue.
-
Pretty much the same as far as I can tell, but then the issues that get in the way (kids basically) are still a factor. But then once or twice a week when you're married with young kids and in your thirties is probably pretty normal.

This subject seems to come up a lot - do people actually care what other people are eating? Unless it's someone posting a thread specifically asking with help because they are struggling to lose weight it wouldn't even occur to me to look at someone elses food diary. It's such a weird thing to get hung up on.
-
Why?
-
People care what other people think of them because that's how society works. The internet is now part of society and just because it's text on a screen that doesn't change the impact that it has.
-
If you're breastfeeding then yes definitely. There's negative entries in the food diary for recording breastfeeding. With the pacing - maybe? Maybe get a pedometer and see how many steps you do.

You'd only be preying on women on dating sites if you were planning on leading them on as to your intentions (e.g. saying you want a relationship when really you just want a quick lay). The internet is a fine place to meet people. Obviously there are scummy people online, but there are in real life too. I wouldn't…

I make this meatloaf http://allrecipes.co.uk/recipe/626/juicy-meatloaf.aspx Goes over pretty well with the family but it's the only recipe I've used (in the UK where meatloaf isn't as common). According to the recipe builder a quarter of it is: calories 431 Carbs 17 Fat 29 Protein 28 Sodium734 Sugar 5

My brother ended up in hospital after drinking too much water. It does happen.

Why is my toddler so obsessed with doing things that either involve possibly killing herself or breaking horribly expensive things? If she's not trying to jump from the back of the sofa onto the windowsill she is trying to jump up and down on my laptop or using my iphone to batter the screen. She is such a witch.

People thinking that if they put their hazard lights on then the blind corner on a 60mph road is suddenly transformed into a safe place to park so they can get out and take photos
-
like there are on all of the recipe forums that also have the recipe?
-
There's no suggestion that the person made up the recipe herself, just that she thought it would be a good recipe to share. I don't even know where I got half my recipes from - the bolognaise sauce recipe I'm making tonight? I don't know where it came from. The banana bread recipe I use? No idea, it's just how I make it.…
-
Are you not allowed to share recipes unless you source the original creator? Because that would never occur to me to do.

It completely depends on what you value doing with your free time. I do understand where your boyfriend is coming from. If he has a stressful job then lazing around on the weekend is precious time to unwind. Standing on the street alone in a different town for hours while your partner does something else does sound…

I'm making Scotch Broth in mine at the moment. http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/scotchbroth_8116 I used a potato instead of the turnip and didn't put the kale in (because I didn't have any and couldn't be bothered going to the shop). The recipe calculator puts it at about 135 calories a bowl Edit: It serves 6.

I like tattoos, have about 5 of them, but I don't find them inherently 'sexy'. I guess I'm more likely to find a tattoo unsexy, in that if someone has a tattoo of a swastika or naked ladies with flames shooting out of their ladybits or something I'll know I definitely don't want to have sex with them.
