everyone is different. I net anywhere from 1600-2300 and have maintained a 30 pound loss for almost 7 months.

I eat a lot of fruit and quest bars. fruit: delicious and naturally sweet quest bars: tastes like candy but very low sugar content and high protein/fiber. can't lose.

It is super frustrating at first. But you can change how you view it. Look at it as a learning experience. Pretty soon you'll be able to eye-ball health portions and you won't even need to measure or count every single calorie.

Unfortunately, the other person you wish to help jump on the healthy train with you has to WANT it for themselves. I would just keep going at it and let that person see how much it is changing you inside and out for the better. Role model.

I would make rice with it. You can find tutorials all over the internet. It's easy to do and delicious!

Quest Bars! <33 so delicious. Protein packed, very low sugar and they are delicious.

I always end up going back to Wholefoods 365 chocolate flavored. It only has about 17g per serving but the taste is wonderful. Not too sweet.

I know how you feel. When you first transition into this lifestyle you feel so deprived. I think that is normal and we need to accept that despite how tough it is. That leads to grounchyness because you're simply not used to eating how you are now. Be patient and it will subside and you'll start to feel better.

No bake cookies are my weakness.. I love mug cakes. You can make so many different kinds and they're so easy. Glad you found something to help that sweet tooth! <3

I eat bread a lot and have lost over 30 pounds! I would suggest not cutting out any food you enjoy. That just leads to restriction and that isn't fun. I would suggest maybe buying whole grain. More fiber than the bleached white bread. Tasty too.

OREOS... animal crackers. Peanut butter and everything with it as an ingredient. I don't stay away from any of these.. I just make sure to fit them in my macros! delicious.

I used to use the spray butter occasionally.. its not high in calories (I think below 5 for a few spritz of it) it did the job for my blueberry waffles.

I do the same thing. I teach preschool (even now in the summer) and usually make it to the gym by 6 am to get my workout in. Before work and every other excuse I could find not to. It becomes effortless and more of a habit. I find that when I start the day off with my workout, I am relieved, less anxious and happy to get…

I had this problem. What worked for me was I decided to stop eating anything other than water after 7:00 pm. This "no exception," rule I made for myself helped me tremendously with my late night overeating. I always made sure I ate all of my daily macros before that so I wouldn't be hungry.

agree 100%. Putting food into your mouth is 100% voluntary. No one is making you do it other than yourself. Eat right, move a little bit and lose what's holding ya back. I think telling a heavier person that they have a disability because of their weight does them HUGE disservice. That just basically allows them continuing…
