Agree with a lot of this, but some of them are a bit ridiculous. Pre-packaged diet meals DO work for some people, and stomach stapling DOES work for some people. I would not consider either a fad diet or an easy fix.

At least he let you know that he was a douchnozzle up front. Consider yourself lucky, you found out he was a jerk really fast and you never have to see his stupid face again. Sorry you had to go through that though, I am sure it sucked. Really though, he is the one with the major issue here. You are strong and can get…

Another binge eater here. I have also struggled with bulimia, although I have been out of the binge/purge cycle for quite a few years now. It has just been binge I have struggled with. It was not unusual for me to drive through mcdonalds and order 3 meals, and eat it all. Therapy, therapy and more therapy...cannot…

Do it! I have lost inches even though I have been floating around the same weight for a few weeks now.

Mine is open right now, but I can tell you I would close it in a hot second if people started being rude. It is open for support and encouragement. People get on their high horses around here a lot, and I can absolutely see why some people woudl choose to keep it closed.

FILLING snacks! Oreos are great as a treat (and I totally do that), but they are not going to fill you up. I like to snack on either low cal stuff I can eat a lot of (baby carrots, popcorn) or really filling things (greek yogrut, nuts, string cheese).

Jumping on this boat with both of you guys. This is why I had to point out that it is not a self-control thing for many people.
-
T his is it exactly. I think it goes beyond self-control for many people, including myself. Peanut butter is a HUGE trigger for me, so I try to keep it out of the house completely.

I would LOVE her body. It is tight and curvy and gorgeous and NOT fat.

And congrats :)

You maintenance cals plus 200-300 cals I believe.
-
Don't fall off that high horse, it will probably hurt.

I count green tea as part of my wtaer, but that is it. I enjoy a diet coke every day, but that is just extra fluid ;)

Eh, some people like weighing daily (like myself). I don't think there is anything wrong with it, I just only log my weight from Sat. mornings. I fluctuate, but not THAT much. With that much going on, I bet you need a new scale. You can try new batteries, but make sure it is relatively consistent! +/- 2lbs in a day can be…

I have, and they have plenty of healthy options. I do half sandwhich and green salad with vinegrette and it is a great meal. ETA: Just did one of my fav meals: Smokehouse Turkey Hot Panini (half) with a half a greek Salad - under 500 cals.
-
OH, protein shakes too. Helps get in some extra cals and would be really good with all the exercise you will be doing.
-
High calorie but healthy foods will be your friend. Nuts, peanut butter, avacados, hummus, granola ect ect. That way you don't have to eat a ton more food, but you still hit your cal goal for the day :)
-
Carl's Jr. has a turkey burger now that is really good and under 500 cals (and its huge). Taco Bell, tacos or burritos fresco style (pico de gallo instead of cheese). Panera Bread is SUPER good and fast but not drive thru.
-
Oh lord, I don't think I have done enough to give great tips lol But, just push yourself with the SHred and don't miss any days if you can help it. I have also been drinking protein shakes after workouts which has been helpful.

I have done 2 weeks at level 1 and 2 at level 2. So a full month, but still plugging along. Starting 3 tomorrow (and I am skeerrred).

I have lost a ton in my boobs too! I was almost overflowing out of my C, and now the C might be a little big :( I was always a B before I got all fat n'stuff, so I have a feeling I am heading back there. My boobs are the first things to go.
-
I just use Whey Protein Powder (chocolate of course ;) ), the brand is EAS and I just get it off Amazon.
-
That was great since it actually takes into account frame. My goal weight is at the lower end of that reccommended range (but at the higher end of the BMI range), so yay :)
-
I weigh daily but only log once a week on Saturday mornings.
-
DOn't take this the wrong way, but have you gone to counseling at all? I have many of the same issues and I cannot tell you how much counseling has helped me.
-
You should try to at least NET 1200 calories, which means that you are gonig to need to eat back some of your exercise calories. If you don't, you could go into starvation mode. You can even eat all your exercise cals if you want, but that is a personal preference. I prefer to just eat some of them back.

I find something close from another restaurant. I figure it is going to be somewhat similar since most restaraunts use similar additives.
-
Oh yeah, I have the SAME problem. Although, they have actually become less and less as I have been eating healthier, so there is that. I get what you say about trying to stop a train though. Sometimes I will be lying in bed, thinking about a bowl of cereal or something, and I seriously WILL.NOT.SLEEP. until I eat it. I…

Well I certainly hope not, because if that is the case, what the hell is the point? LOL I want to get to the poitn that I have a healthy relationship with food and my body. I cannot think that is impossible.
