should a pregnant woman eat?

    Everyone should eat! I'm not quite sure what you're asking. The general guideline for pregnant women is that they should consume approximately 250 extra calories per day (rough equivalent: yogurt and an apple). Additionally, women should not engage in a weight loss plan while pregnant. Obese or overweight women have a lower weight-gain guideline than women of a healthy weight and underweight women.

    The amount recommended by her doctor!! Certainly don't go against your doc's advice based on an internet site or any of the random population that uses that site.

    depends if youre overweight to begin with, then you could safely eat at maintenance, but if youre a healthy weight, you should add roughly 200 cals extra a day.


    This is in theory though. When I am pregnant i am so hungry constantly, its unreal.

    I wont I just wanted a general idea of how many extra calories I should be intaking, I know there are some pregnant women on here just wanted some opinions

    lol I hear you there I have been starving and I am not ignoring my body thats for sure, just trying to make healthy choices :)
