  • Hi, I am Thai and generally whenever I want to lose some weight, I revert back to eating like a real Thai :D Thai cuisine is pretty healthy as it is mostly high in protein and low in fat. To avoid calories, it is the same as any cuisine i.e. avoid deep-fried menu and coconut based curries (although personally i don't think…
  • the smell is in the water it sits in, all you need to do is take it out, rinse if u like, but I just boil it and once cook it never ever has any smell. Just like strings of tasteless jelly. Also I suggest don't try using it instead of anything, that's why u can't get used to the texture. I think having it as a replacemrnt…
  • - small build to the rest of the world, med/athletic to the Asian world -_-" - 113lbs at 5'4 size 6 uk - love to be 105lbs but it's bit unrealistic and unhealthy I think... So my new goal is to maintain :D - I'm 27 yrs old - no kids!
  • I agree with having big breakfast. I was doing the same amount of running as u and couldn't stop snacking, hungry all time, my body was yelling for food. Now I have big bowl of porridge, chopped banana, cinnamon, a little salt and almond butter for breakfast. So you get fibre, protein, carbs and healthy fat in one hit. Its…
  • I don't really know any but would like to make a gentle advice that unless you are willing to eat those pre packed diet foods for the rest of your life then I suggest you start learning how to cook. Cooking really help you to understand more about ingredients, what food is good and bad for you, about balance and healthy…

  • I still remember a fight with my dad when I refused to tell him my weight and he pulled a scale out into a living room and tell me to get on it in front of everyone, I was like 19 yrs old and no more than 55kg(121lbs) then. My lil sis has the same fight 6 yrs later!! He hasn't learned a thing about having daughters. Funny…

  • I'm 5'4, the ultimate goal was 105lbs (48kg), I know it's a little low but for my origin (thai/chinese) is unfortunately....is very normal. I'm at 114 lbs and actually quite satisfy with my size now. So the aim is to get really really tone and try to loose inches that way, if the pounds drop off as well will be a plus :D…
  • I love being a great cook!! and I extra extra love the fact that I can always make very yummy low calorie food!!
  • I would look up estimate calories for the outer crust (i assume puff pastry or mash potato? should be easy to find) then take that away from the total cal of the pie.
  • There are 2 types of skinny people around me First type : (Like most of my friends)They don't have much interest in food. So when they eat, they eat just enough to get by, without paying much attention. They don't crave, don't snack (unless given or in social occasion) don't DREAM about food (like i do :D). So averagely…

  • Yeb I completely agree! i'm Thai and have never gained weight from eating Thai food (Ofcourse you can if you eat ridiculous amount). I've always struggle with weight since living in the UK with English diet. Healthier food seem to be much more boring here so it feels hard to go on diet. Whereas I have just spent 2 weeks on…
