btw I will be exercising (ie doing cardio and lifting) as I do this since I love going to the gym! Idk if that will do anything besides help increase the caloric deficit I'm a semi newbie so plz go easy on me

I did a crash diet 2 years ago... I lost ~20 lbs in about a month and then lost ~20 more in the 3 months that followed (I began eating 1600 cals and kept doing 30-60 mins of cardio almost every day).
