What an unusual assumption. What do you think I want to hear?

Ha. Me neither now after trying it for one day. I felt my body was like, erm you’re not chewing anything so you still need to feed me. Glad I tried it though and my tummy did feel great the next day I have to admit.

My question was really only for people who have tried liquids only and to share their experiences and thoughts. I’m not expecting to to “learn about nutrition and portions”?

I answered this in the opening paragraph of my post.

Allbran (if you’re in the UK) it’s one of the lowest GI cereals you can have and has bags of fibre so keeps you full longer even than porridge. :)

Echoing what most peeps are saying- the most effective way to see quicker (and long term sustainable) weight loss and fitness results is by combining cardio with strength training. Big fan of Bodyweight exercises such as TRX over free weights, but I use both. Cardio burns that fat immediately and building muscle with…

Cleanliness is THE most important thing at a gym in my opinion. I go to the gym average 4 times a week and frankly whilst good equipment is ofcourse important, I couldn’t care less if a gym was equipped with 1000 super duper all-singing machines if they were covered in other people’s stale sweat and germs.

Hey guys. I share your frustration.

As everyone’s saying it depends on your gait and style. I’m neutral usually but recently have oddly started to pronate slightly on just my left foot?! I use Saucony and Brookes to outdoor run in. Well I did. Have a lower back issue in the SI joint so running unfortunately is off the menu right now. Go try a load of pairs…

My main advise to you would be invest in some sessions with a personal trainer to help spice up your workouts. I train minimum 4 times a week and do on average 45-60 mins cross trainer cardio (due to a lower back SI joint injury I can’t unfortunately run at the moment), mixed with free weights, mat work and TRX. YouTube is…

I don't tend to think about gender specific areas in the gym- anyone who does needs to just get on with their work out and not be worried about what other people around you may or may not be thinking. I'd like to think this is 2014 and not 1974, so peoples attitudes and perception of gender have come on a long way,…

I vote for a piccy of your mug so WE can all be the judges on your hotness. That way we will be better equipped to be your MFP virtual Oprahs.

Suggestion also: Try using a heart rate monitor that shows your calories burned- do exactly the same workout two days in a row, the only variable to change would be do one after eating food before, and the other workout without food. Compare to see the difference! Post the results here. That would be interesting.

I tried this- and my body felt really quite weak compared to when i eat a small bowel of cereal before i workout. However, i have found that It does also depend on how your body feels that day. Some mornings all i need is literally a few mouth fulls of milk and i can go and do a 1.5 hour workout for example. I wouldn't…

It's defiantly that you're setting unrealistic goals with your running. It's hard, but you need to try to strike the balance between pushing yourself, and pushing too much so you get down heartened when you can't run the distance you've set yourself. I have been guilty of expecting too much of my body with my running in…
