I have made it thru week one but first day of week two..I went to jazzercies for one hour then came home and did day one...it has taken me four days for my back to heal..am going to start day one week two again tonite but am a little worried b/c well really need my back. :sad:

How do you find the Couch to 5 k?? thaat is my next challenge..I am currently doing Ripped in 30(oh my gosh!)...I am doing this on top of my jazzercise and zuumba also.

Buy the meats, egg, cheese, tomatoes, onions, spinach, bread, mushrooms, lettuces...then you can make meat and veggie omelettes. then have a meat and veggie salad, and finally meat and veggie sandwiches. My husband and I do this when we are on vacation so we can utilize all the food for all meals.

I pack a cooler everyday for a twelve to fouteen hour day...babybel light cheese, precooked turkey bacon packed in baggies, fiber one yogurt 50 calorie, brown rice cups(prepackaged at store..1minute in micro), boiled eggs peeled and bagged, turkey stix(like beef jerky stix) . Do you need any water to cover the dried beans or does the tomatoes take care of this..also wondering if canned black beans would work. Sounds delish.

I slice thin on gondola with potatoes, mushrooms, onions, . I cook with very little olive oil and cooking spray, add garlic and teriyaki sauce. Very good with some brown rice or a steak cooked on grill. I also shred and throw in soups..very good in Healthy Choice bean soup, Progresso's tomato basil soup or lentil soup.

Proteins help me. I do a lot of lowfat cheese stix, old wisonsin turkey stix, protein bars or I eat sunbutter(peanut butter replacement) 1-2 tbsp. I find proetien really does better holding off hunger and fullfills cravings longer thru day. Greek yougurt is also a good go-to. Good Luck.

Are the bean sprouts bought fresh in produce section or or they from a can.?? I have never eaten bean sprouts so am not sure.

I cook up batches of turkey bacon and then divide it into 3-4 slices in snack bags. I also boil eggs at beginning of week, then peel and divide the whites into snack bags. I grab this , take to work to eat ..no need to heat and drink a lite muscle milk with it. Sometimes a snackwell cinnamon raisin bar with half banana…

There is a kraft mayo out that is lite and is a wasabi mix..there is also a garlic lite mayo. both would nprolly be good.. Also a horsereadish or spicy mustard would compliment the burger. Good Luck sounds awesome.

Keep a small cooler in car with cheese sticks, carrot sticks, fruit, water. I also bag up popcorn and there are some turkey jerky sticks that are low in calories and carbs. Good Luck

I do like low carb just not the strictness of Atkins. Thanks for the info, it really helps. I am really pushing to try and up my workouts to strength training 2xweek and cardio 2xweek an hour each.
