Weigh in was Thursday - down another 1/2# - - under 160, it's 159.5 but still haven't seen that in a looonnnnggg time.

Well, this was quite a week - winery visit with woodfired pizza plus didn't change up the evening snack too much - - but was down 1/2 #. I will take that!

Yay ME - - down .25 , a loss is soooo much better than a gain. I really worked for that one. I need to change up my evening snack. Will try veggies for a week & see if that has an impact.

I've tried WW several times & when they went to Points, I just could not compute that! MFP is a great tool, but this year I joined TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly). It is $32/yr to join & the support in our group is amazing! Between MFP & TOPS I am tracking calories & food exchanges & have dropped 13# - - it is slow going…

Oh yes - by controlling the amount of carbs you take in you can control your bodys insulin. Simple carbs (sugar, flour, potatoes) all have a high glycemic index. I think the calories burned is based on your weight & intensity of workout. I know I only burn appx 275 to 350 on my 30 minute circuit. But you could probably do the circuit a few times to burn more calories. - -

Yeah - I'm a 60 something grandma too. 3 kids - 7 grands. I'm trying to stay healthy for the long haul. Eat well, move more, drink your water! I love Curves - it is helping me learn to enjoy exercise.
