  • My name is Sarah. I know I'm coming in late but I'd like to join in again. I was away from home for a while which made it much more difficult to focus on my diet. My goals for each day will be to stay under 1370 net calories and water to 8 cups of water, and 8000 steps. Time to get back on track.
  • Yesterday I'm quite sure I ended up in the red. Today however I've gotten green, 5/6 magnets today. I was at the gym today, and done a bit of walking. I spent most of my time at home today

  • I didn't log in yesterday either so I was definitely really over on calories. We went out for supper last night at Harvey's for Father's day so I had my hamburger and shared half my fries and milkshake.

  • Well, I have succeeded in moving all 6 magnets on the fridge, and avoiding desserts today. My step counter got reset on me today but I probably biked 6 km today, and went for a yoga class this evening. I'm still short with how much water I drank today.

  • Today ended up being a red day. I would normally have gone to the gym but I was overtired today and needed a rest. Tomorrow should be mostly a quiet day. I guess I need to be more careful when I need to back off my activity, and not to overdo the activity in the first place.
  • Yesterday I did very well with my eating. I also biked about 15km (9mi) bringing my step count to 15000 (including my biking). However, I overdid it so this morning I'm taking a rest from my usual workout at the gym.
  • Yesterday, I did quite good. Supper ended up being a bit big, but made it through the day with about the right number of calories, and I did 12000 steps. My volunteer work also involves quite a bit of standing so I was quite active. I was a bit short on the water.

  • I did really well most of the day but the snacks in the evening it fell apart. Maybe what I need to do is to include evening snacks in the morning prep. Supper was really good homemade spaghetti sauce and spaghetti squash with salad. I wasn't as active today as I typically am. Sarah
  • Today hasn't been as good a day. I find once I get off track it can be hard to get back on.
  • It's been a good day, however I haven't been eating very well today. I started out with it all planned out, but it fell apart during the afternoon and evening. Well, tomorrow is another day. I did 8000 steps today, but for part of the evening I was carrying and packing boxes at the thrift store.
  • CullinsK, I've found that planning meals out makes it so much easier to make decisions in the morning, but I've also learned to think of it as flexible plan, that way if something doesn't go on I don't feel too stressed about it. Good job on the exercise every little bit helps.

  • Did pretty good with eating, and reached my water goal. I've done 11705 steps today most of which is accounted for by biking at least 14 kilometers (approx 8 miles)

  • Yesterday I took some time to plan out meals which I've been doing for a few weeks. It's more of a guideline rather than being firm. Today I went to the gym, but made it a light day. I've been off for almost a week after taking a fall off my bike. I was sore for a day or two but otherwise fine.

  • Hi I'm Sarah. My goal is to get my BMI into the healthy range (which translates to about 16 pounds). I usually try for about 3 days a week at the gym. My favorite class at the gym is zumba. Sweets tend to be a challenge for me. I tend to eat them too often.
  • I tend to overeat when I'm lonely, bored, tired, or angry. Lately there have been a lot of church potlucks and campfires which has thrown me off track, with sugar cravings. I'm going to try planning that sweet as part of my day so I'm less tempted to eat so many sweets because I know I can have one later.
