Wow great job!

My problem with the recent update: can no longer access the community on the app, but no problem with logging food. Strange

If you weigh yourself every week/2weeks/month you should be able to see when you start gaining and make adjustments. That is where I went wrong three years ago.
-
I did the same half a year ago. Good luck!

wow great job!

High 5 :D

Thank you guys! If I can do it, you can do it too!
-
yes I am sure you can! Keep up the good work. Only one more week and you do not crave nicotine any more. You should be proud!
-
Congrats! 134 days ago you made the best decision in your life! Now regain focus and watch what you can do! If necessary invest your cigarette savings in a coach.

I know what you mean and the "bored" phase is dangerous. Try to regain focus when you are bored. Here are some tips that helped me: When bored or on the moments I used to get a cigarette I would turn on an alarm for 60 seconds, after these seconds the craving was less or gone. (you also have apps for this like kick…

wow good job!!! In the beginning when I was craving food or cigarette I would go for a walk and call a friend. Any positive effects? For me: cigarettes do not control my schedule any more, my clothes smell better, no more cough, taste, being proud, money, time, complexion

Yes my taste is also way better and I love it. I used to hate cilantro now I love it (same for black pepper). What foods taste different for you?
-
First of all congrats, you are becoming more healthy every day and your body is cleaning itself! You probably already know this, but chewing gum really helps and in really bad situations try a lollipop. Good luck!
-
Wow you look great in your bikini! I'll have to keep my boyfriend inside. I'm sure he would check you out, twice  Congrats on the progress
-
Way to go! Take it step by step! Look at how far you have already come and imagine where you are going! (Being a healthy mom must be a really good motivation)
-
Wow great progress! Hope we inspire others to quit smoking too!
-
Thank you for the reply. Must have been hard for you to watch your mom struggle. And you should be very proud that you never started smoking!!!!
-
Thank you!
-
Thank you! I gained in the first two/three months. I waited until I got the quiting under control and then started with the weight loss. Everything one step at a time!
-
Great job! Good luck with the c25k

Wow this is so expensive! In comparison here in the Netherlands/Holland: Cauliflower: $2-$2,50 Red pepper:$0,70-0,90 Mushrooms: $1 Fresh fish: Salmon $30/kg (=2,2 lb) Brussel sprouts: 1,10/lb I hate the prices of pine nuts $60/kg

Wait for a few weeks for your metabolism to catch up. Cigarettes have an influence on your metabolism. Try to eat chewing gum when you crave a cigarette. I stopped smoking 38 weeks ago and reversed the weight gain into weight loss. But remember quitting smoking was the best decision you ever made!!!! Keep up!

Wow you look great! Good for you! Our stories are quite similar. And as you said it feels way better loosing the right way than by starving!
-
Great job!!!

Thank you! Very nice to hear!

I love beer so much! Luckily it is winter here now and I can resist the temptation. Just drinking in weekends and because of the weight loss I get 'drunk' sooner (=less calories). I used to work in a special beer bar. That really was like working in a candy store... Let's start a kickstarter project for great tasting light…

Less visible scars....

I get "drunk" sooner. I already feel "light headed" when I drink two glasses of wine.
