  • I've been to CP dozens of times in my life & have never seen a weight restriction on any adult ride. Just FYI...
  • A couple years ago I went & the only ride I had trouble with was Top Thrill Dragster. I still fit, but barely. The left side of the cars have a smaller seat-belt is what a ride operator told me. Once I switched to the right side it clicked shut. Still pretty embarrassing though. One girl told me I couldnt ride & another…
  • Thank you ladies
  • Just found this group & would like to be a part of it. I'm just about 23 weeks pregnant w/ our 1st & it's a boy. My all time high weight was end of 2009 at 257. At my checkup yesterday I was 258. I couldve died. I was 237 in January of this year pre baby. I know if I eat right I can either maintain this weight or drop some…
  • I am pregnant currently. Once you are pregnant, "dieting" goes out the window. It's not a free for all to eat anything, you still need to be eating healthy. You just need to slightly increase by the 300 calories a day. To be honest, at 7 weeks I am finding this difficult w/ the constant queasiness & smell issues. Two meals…
  • If you know it doesn't work why are you struggling? I'd think staying on track is easier when you know doing it the other way doesn't work in the long run. It doesn't work in the long run b/c your body does go into starvation mode so once you go back to eating normal the weight comes right back. Your body is storing it b/c…
  • How is it calorie free if it contains fruit juice concentrate? Fine, the artificial sweetener doesn't add more sugar but I don't buy that it's sugar & calorie free.
  • The specific forms are any normal paperwork you'd fill out at a new job. This guy didn't ask for as much as a copy of his license. All he knows is his name & it's his other employees son. That's it. No SS# on record, nothing. I looked up the Dept. of labor my my state of IL. Looks like they can legally pay you cash & leave…
  • Yeah, finding a new job is what my gut says too. The thing is he was a mechanic at a mom & pop shop for over 2 years but quit there late Spring this year b/c everyone got a pay cut to keep the business open. That was to keep from having to fire anyone in tough times which is a nice thought. For a couple who were paying for…
  • Working with his dad, not for. It is not a family business.
  • I looked into those faux grass pads & it wont fly with my dog. She doesn't go to a spot & squat. She circles back & forth sometimes in a figure eight pattern. I'm looking into a tent w/ no floor. Big enough to walk around in, out of the wind & no snow to shovel. Just bare grass to walk on. I found a dealer online who has…
  • a permanent job that offers insurance that pays me what I am worth, my family to all stop fighting with each other over nothing & speak to each other again and if said family can all get together for Christmas
  • Just a quick peek at your diary & I'd day you need to cut down the bread. Your in the UK so alot of the food is different from here in the USA. I'm not 100% sure of what some stuff is but half looks like junk food to be but like I said, I don't know UK food. Just random picking stuff from various days over the last week :…
  • I've never had eggplant. What's it taste like? I'm a picky eater & new veggies never seem to rate well with me :(
  • Actually they couldnt tell me what forms to use, that was considered legal advice. I dont see how but they were useless there. I just hope we picked the right form :(
  • Yeah I'm right there next to you. Except I did this for about a week. And it did not pay off, I gained 4 lbs! Back on track as soon as I dig myself out of my guilt & shame hole.
  • I make a salad. My recipe is here: http://recipes.sparkpeople.com/recipe-detail.asp?recipe=1032847. Very simple.
  • My 7lb chihuahua goes on half hour walks with us. As long as its not 90 degrees outside it's no problem. Do you have a collar or harness to walk the dog with? A small dog should have a harness as to not damage the throat since they usually have delicate throats.
  • I've never seen in any store super skim milk. What's the difference? It's thicker & tastes like 2% but is really skim?
  • My videos are still not in from the library yet :( Can I do this challenge just by walking around my neighborhood??
  • I have on hold at my library: The big burn: 2 miles of intervals Walk at home. Walk your belly flat Leslie Sansone's Walk at home. 3 mile slim & sleek walk Any one better than the others? I have never done any exercise DVD aside from the 30 Day Shred. As for my goal? I just don't know. This is an everyday things right? So,…
  • I could walk. I will check my local library to see if they have her DVDs. Sounds like easy exercise that I need to do.
  • My midweek meatless dinner: Sloppy Joe Boats w/ baked tater tots & broccoli/cauliflower mix 1 bag of MorningStar Farms Grillers Crumbles (=1lb ground beef) 1 can Manwich Thick & Chunky Hot Dog Buns (all we have on hand & I don't have $ to get hamburger buns)
  • At least you acknowledge your on your way to a bad place. No one is going to stop you but yourself. You got to find the self control. Every so often your going to trip up but we all do. You go to get back on track though when you feel yourself slide down. You should bring healthy food/snacks w/ you to work the night shift…
  • Try this. Fiber One Cereal in the original version/flavor. Throw it in the blender & make breadcrumbs out of it. I made onion rings with it last night. Add some seasoning & use egg beaters or egg whites to hold the crumbs on & bake. Ive made baked chicken w/ this "breading" before & it turned out great.
  • there is moderation & then there is teasing yourself into wanting more. I can have a scoop of ice cream in a bowl no cone & walk away. Ive even had a spoonful of ice cream to taste something that my fiance had & walked away. You're already in moderation in my opinion when your dessert snack is half a cup of 1% milk & a…
  • serves 2? C'mon, that's so tiny why bother? Obviously I'm here to lose weight & have some food problem if I'm overweight but this type of tiny portion is what makes me binge. I get a taste & it's gone. I want more. In my case, I'd allow for both servings & make sure I'd have the points or calories in my day. Just my…
  • Pull & pray :drinker:
  • I'm the odd one out here, I dislike them. They're dry & don't taste good to me.
  • Sorry to hear about the loss. I don't judge anyone for crying over the loss of a pet be it bunny, dog, bird, whatever. A pet is a pet. As for your girls, like the other poster said it is a life lesson. Anyone with pets has to deal with it at some point. Growing up we had 2 bunnies. They both died & are buried in my parents…
