  • Do you have anything that stresses you out in the evening? Or any activities that inspire snacking? I could be full from dinner but if we are sitting down to watch a movie I am hungry for snacks!! So that could be something to look at and adjust for. As someone else said, maybe plan for an after dinner snack. Also, now…
  • Everyone has posted very good and thoughtful advice, but to add with the whole baking and binging thing: I do the same thing, so I make the goodies, and leave only some of them out. The rest are frozen, given away, taken to work, etc. Try to make smaller portions (one dozen vs. two) of treats. I had a crash where I was…
  • I get it all the time, but some things that cause flare ups: (Not a dermatologist, but these work for me) Do you wear sunscreen while working out? Might try a gentler brand, and make sure you really wash it off. Do you have hard water in your shower? If you are showering but not cleansing your face with an actual cleanser,…
  • https://ourbestbites.com/baked-creamy-chicken-taquitos/ You could use neufatchel cheese instead of cream cheese, and cut down on the shredded cheese, but we love this stuff. I use the carb balance tortillas. Mmmmm yummy.
  • That sounds so delicious and would be such a nice change up from what we usually do. Summer rolls are sooooo goood. Thank you!
  • Super easy recipe, just a can of pumpkin and a spice cake mix. https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/25831/pumpkin-spice-cookie/ It says it's only 98 calories a cookie, but it's hard to determine what size they make theirs. To be honest, I always put chocolate chips in..... But they are delicious! (And you can store the…
  • Just really overestimate and control what you can. I understand about the home cooked meals at other folk's homes, on those days I just eat really light, eat the meal, and then worst case scenario I've hit maintenance. Or just eat less when eating out or at a friend's. Logging isn't fun, I get annoyed with it too, but it's…
  • I couldn't work out for months due to panic attacks. Great advice here on breathing, etc. Because working out hard mimics some of my panic attack symptoms, and I'm afraid of panic attacks, it would start a spiral. I had to start slow and tough it out. Run two minutes, feel the panic coming on, stop running, control it as…
  • I use a gentle cleanser, Cera ve, for my face. Work out with a clean face, then wash the sweat off afterwards and moisturize. A dermatologist can determine a great routine and which brands to use. I'd break out really bad, but the prescribed me an RX with a skin antibiotic and for the first time in 15 years I have clear…

  • Do you have a crock pot or pressure cooker? They simplify most recipes. I would cook a ton of chicken on one day and then use them for recipes throughout the week Some favorites from college: http://www.the-girl-who-ate-everything.com/2011/09/easy-chicken-cordon-bleu.html Chicken Cordon Bleu…
  • After a ton of whining, I finally work out 5x's a week 6am-7am. I work full time, have a special needs child (and she HATES me working out at home, for some inexplicable reason), and she still doesn't sleep through the night. I set my alarm and put it in my bathroom so that I have to get up and walk to turn it off. Right…
  • I agree with leejoyce31. It can be a process to get the point where you can flat out stop snacking, or have more control over your actions. So many factors can be involved. Op, keep trying, and try to "cut" your snacking. Going from "I'm eating out of the bag" to "I have a serving in a bowl and that is it!" is a good first…
  • My morning run laps around some pokestops and I caught a doduo, paras, growlithe, and ponyta during it. It was a fun way to make the miles fly by since I was waiting for another pokemon to pop up.

  • I loved it for a while...but now I've neglected my town so much. :P I feel like there isn't much left to do in there anymore--except try to convince the ugly villagers to leave so I can try to get the villagers I want! :D
  • The closest I get to gaming is listening to Gamegrumps while running long distance. I can watch other youtubers while on the treadmill, too, but Gamegrumps can be hilarious even without the screen. I do get a bit of exercise when raging in between Mario Kart or Pokken matches at my friends lol.
  • Ok, so Stardew valley is in progress and very enjoyable so far, but I've hardly gotten anywhere with it. Broforce was amusing for a while, so that was fun. Still need to finish Earthbound--ehhh And I bought/finished LiEat on Steam for the heck of it--it was $3. It was a cute game of mostly story telling--not much to it.
  • Oh goodness. Spent Easter weekend with my siblings repeatedly dying over and over in that game. It was definitely amusing--but after two days of it we were bored lol. It's a fun diversion!
  • Yep, I quit League of Legends just because I couldn't take it anymore! When I want to have fun, I don't take criticism or unkindness well :P
  • Ok, so I've played it for four (in game) days now... At what point does everything make sense? I feel like I'm wasting so much time just trying to get a feel for it. Or is it forgiving in that regard?
  • I spend less money. I go out to lunch less (never)--rather eat a filling dinner. More room in the fridge/cupboards--I bought a lot of "snacks". I still eat snacks, but I don't hoard them. Car is cleaner--not much snacking in the car. Downside--I'm so SLEEPY. Used to use food to "wake me up".
  • I got this a ton until I was more used to running. More water before the run and during helped.
  • I'm a 5'8" and 155 ish pounds female. When I started running at 163 lbs, it was AWFUL. I worked up to doing 3 miles a day at 10 minutes per mile on the treadmill. I still didn't like it and some days it REALLY wasn't worth it. So, I changed it to a 12 minute mile, and discovered I could run, listen to my music, and have a…
  • Ah your costume is too cute!! Your Bard is spot on!! WOAH!! Do it anyways and enjoy it! I make a terrible EVERYTHING but it's still fun. And the nice people make it worth it. I mean, hardly anyone can look EXACTLY like these FICTIONAL characters, so go for it! (Except for that Bard costume, that's real or sorcery!)
  • I use cheap hanes shapewear ($20 at target, looks like a swimsuit) and it's nice to have on under a dress; also, nothing accidently sticks and rides up. :) it makes me have better posture, and it's not as tight as spanx. But no permanent change!
  • Smashburger mint oreo haagen daaz milkshakes are buy one get one free if you wear green today. They are REALLY calorie dense, but easy to split and share. McDonald's is now ruined in comparison, lol.
  • Yogscast! Also, is twitch what they use for Awesome Games Done Quick? If so, I watch both sessions every year, those are so fun. Haven't tried anything else yet.

  • Being that I spent SO many summer days playing Harvest Moon 64 and Animal Crossing, I imagine this one is going to be addictive as well! Maybe I'll reward myself with it at the end of each day and allot only so many minutes/in game days.... Or just pull all-nighters. ;)
  • Earthbound is on my Wii U virtual console. I started playing it and then drifted off. I'll have to finish it! (The battle system is so slow because of being spoiled by quicker ones nowadays. ) I'll look up Space Funeral too. I'm getting Stardew Valley for my birthday, and I see there's already a thread on it in this forum,…
  • My kid is super picky and has lots of issues, but stir fry noodles +veggies + a scrambled egg in it is the go to for dinner right now. :)
  • It's so much more fun to go with someone to cons or meet up with friends. I went alone before and it was a bummer. Also, couple/group cosplays are always so fun to see. :)
