  • you loo great! what kind of exercise did you do?
  • I dont have the book either and I feel that I eat about 90-95% clean. Its the only way to truly do it if you want to lose and be healthy! The magazine sounds good I will have to look into that. Two other great books that I read on the topic are "The perfect 10 diet" and Jillian Michaels "master your metabolism".
  • W4D5 done today. The workout is getting easier too! I was so happy because I started back to school yesterday and everyone was commented on how I looked. It made me feel that all this hard work has been so worth it!! Have a great day everyone!
  • W4D1 done today. I really enjoyed this workout and didn't think that it was any more intense then the others when I first started them. I actually really liked the moves in this one.
  • W3 done for me!! yay! excited for week 4 because of what I have heard from all of you here. My friend did RI30 and her favorite was week 4 as well. She still uses it occasionally for a workout on its own. Good luck today everyone!
  • W3D6 for me. One more day left of week 3 and really excited about that. I am really happy with my progress so far and feel like everything I have been learning this past 9 months is finally coming together!
  • That actually sounds good to me. I love yoga!! I am going to start doing it again once I lose all the weight I want to. I doesn't really burn calories so I havent done it in a long time. I can tell now that she is preparing for those poses with a little bit in week 3 with the storks and the balance moves she does. The…
  • yeah you have to lift your legs and reach for your toes with your arms in one move. try bending your knees a little that might help. W3D5 for me today. Ready for this week to be over. The tricep dips really kill me for some reason. I can't believe how weak my triceps are. Plus I have the whole hurting wrists thing again…
  • 2 days off with a mini vacation to the beach! really needed the workout this morning. I went overboard this weekend! W3D3 for me today. Glad to hear everyone is doing so well. keep up the good work.
  • totally agree with you Beauty that Jillian seems to race through this level. The other workouts were taking about 35 minutes to complete through and this one is 32 so she did cut out some downtime I guess. W3D2 done today. Ready for a rest tommorow. Tess week 2 is hard because you do a lot of moves in the plank position.…
  • W3D1 done today. Holy cow I hated every moment of this workout! ughh this is going to be a challenging week!! I cant even type I am still shaking! I usually take a rest day in between weeks but I have to use my rest day for saturday because we are going to the beach!!! cant wait to wear my new suit! have a great day!
  • done with week 2!!! yay!! ready to move on. My rental from the library runs out today too so I guess I need to buy the video, oh well. everyone sounds like they are doing great. good luck
  • W2D5 today. ready for week 2 to be over!! the squat thrusts and mountain climbers are killing me!!! Im hitting a plateau too right now and its so discouraging!! Btw I am reading Jillians book Master your Metabolism. Has anyone else read it? It talks about eating whole, clean foods and how hormones really play a role in…
  • thats awesome that you are seeing such great results! I find with her workouts I feel like I lose inches more than pounds. Especially with week 2 that I am on now, its a lot of strength work.
  • W2D2 done! much better calorie burn today because of knowing the moves a little better. think I may have figured out what I was doing wrong with the crawling ab thing too. I was trying to sit the whole way up and do it and not just crunch. I have to learn to block Jillian out a little better too because she's a yapper in…
  • I am doing Ripped in 30 right now and I previously did 30 day shred. I think it depends on what level you are at. I feel that 30 day shred is easier then Ripped in 30. I like both but I think the shred almost prepares you for ripped with getting you used to some moves.
  • Day 1 of week 2 today! The workout reminded me of the hardest level on Last Chance Workout. It was all of those plank moves. Doing so many moves on the ground like that doesn't give my HRM a good reading so I didn't have as many calories burned today then with week 1 but I know I am still working my butt off! Plus the…

  • Yay week 1 finished!!! will probably take a rest day tomorrow and maybe do yoga or something lower impact. kel834-that might be a good idea to stay with week1 or just modify as you can with week 2. As you do it more it will become easier.
  • wow! just looked her up and she is my new inspiration! she is built but still looks very feminine! love it! http://www.jamieeason.com/photos/view/?cid=26175_image_112
  • Alot of people log it under circuit training. I have a heart rate monitor so I instantly know mine but the circuit training one on here seems to be pretty close. good luck with Ripped!
  • W1D5 today. getting excited but nervous to move onto week 2 soon. I am definetly taking a rest day before that because I think I am overworking my quads with the lunges. I felt a little pain today when I did one and that has never happened in all the time I have been working out. I have been trying to increase my dumbell…
  • D2W1 done. Was definetly sore this morning when I woke up! have fun everyone!
  • I started today on week 1. I could see where you said that you thought it was easy and skipped ahead. It wasnt as tough as I thought but I will just keep going with it. Also did anyone find Jillian a little annoying? 30 day shred is an older workout so she hadn't developed her bad a** personality yet but she does here! Im…
  • No, I wasn't planning on following the meal plan just because I looked at it and it looks similar to how I eat now. There wasnt anything much different. Plus the 1400 calories would be more then I take in as well. Just wanted to see what everyone else was doing.
  • I was thinking about starting ripped this week because I just found it at the library today! Are any of you doing the meal plan as well or just eating healthy?
  • the equation had me at 2000 calories so then with wanting to lose weight I am at 1500! I think I will go by what you said and increase by 100 at a time to see how it goes. thanks again.
  • melcowenfitness: how did you come to the 1900 calories? MFP has me at 1200 and I was doing fine with that for awhile but I am exercising a lot more now and it seems like the 1200 is too low. By night time I am starving!
