  • Jeez people. Just accept some people want to be lighter (within the healthy range) and don't want to do strength training. And please don't let us have the misfortune of being exactly 18 because it seems that everybody stating that age is lying here. Oh... and for the love of god, do force your children to move out the day…
  • You said it: tuna. The ocean is not polluted enough for it to kill you/harm you. You might die from boredom at 140 years old before dying from something related to eating stuff collected from the ocean (unless something really catastrophic happens, but it's usually never the case, and that might also happen with other…
  • Not my experience, buy my mom's. She got the same surgery you had. Before that, she was extremely ill because her periods literally lasted a month, and she had to eat lots so she wouldn't die from anemia. Of course she was incredibly overweight and miserable. After the surgery she had to stay in bed for 40 days (more like…
  • Oh boy... just give up food altogether if you cannot be bothered with weighing bananas. You will not get any accurate calorie counting done if you don't weigh your food. If you get a 30gr serving of cookies that, according to the box, is 6 cookies, you may actually be eating 1.5 servings because cookies sometimes weigh…
  • At 112lbs and being a regular costumer of McDonald's, Hard Rock Cafe, and Starbucks, I can say that people really need to stop blaming everybody else for being fat. Like... you can eat fast food or have your super caloric coffee without getting fat as long as you plan around it, and don't care that much about macros.
  • I try to look at the ingredients the food contains, and guestimate them individually (20gr of lettuce, 250 of pork...). Not the best, but it's better than nothing... and it definitely keeps you accountable.
  • Don't stress too much about it. Go for the healthiest options and remember that ONE day won't make you fat. Always keep in mind that you cannot allow your diet to interfere with your social life, in any case, make up for it next day or just go back on track right away.
  • Don't avoid it altogether if your cravings are too bad. Grab a serving/day, put the rest out of your reach and enjoy the piece you're having. It's not as good as getting rid of it altogether but at least you can reduce your intake until your body decides to stop craving it. And try to look for some sugar-free chocolates…
  • Whenever I try to add a new food to the database, some of the data I try to input doesn't allow for commas. For example, I try to input the fiber at (ex) 0.8 and the thing writes 8 (not even 1, it just won't recognize the comma), so it forces me to round up. It's something MFP should correct ASAP because, let's be real,…
  • I would throw up if I ate like that. Really, my stomach can't take much food at 6am, and it starts making all the "I'm hungry" noise past 10 am.
  • Well... English is not my mother tongue, and besides the literal meaning of the word, I first came across with the Self-harm meaning cutting; then I realized that as many English words, it´s a matter of context. I mean, it would be very ugly if 15 posters in a row were (self-harm) cutting, don´t you think?
  • I just go for the old "it's not tomorrow until I sleep, no mater what time it is". For example now it's almost 4am here and if I was to eat anything, I would log it in yesterday's log (it's already Monday but I would still log it on Sunday because I haven't slept yet). If that won't work for you, rename your meals... I…
  • Not counting leads me to "one more spoonful won't hurt" (and then the spoonful becomes ten spoonfuls). When I do count, I realize that most of the times, when it doesn't fit my calorie allowance anymore, I'm usually already satisfied and I would just be eating for the sake of it
  • Well... When I read "light" (diet) on some stuff packages, I considered it having waaaaaaay less calories than the regular stuff, but apparently that only applies to diet sodas lol. When I first started counting I tried to switch to the light versions, only to discover that sometimes it either referred to "sugar free" (not…
  • I weigh everything, included packed things (most of them tend to say things like "20gr" and then they're 25gr), except my Kit Kats... I love them more than that lol
  • More like 5000... And I'm not sure if I'm including the cider I drank as if it was water
  • When I went to school and woke up at 6-ish, I simply wasn't able to stomach breakfast... I could barely swallow a cup of tea, so I went to school on an empty stomach and had a sandwich or something during the first break (two hours after getting into the hell-hole lol). I just did that my whole teenager life and it didn't…
  • I drank to forget what I ate lol
  • Relax... it's christmas, you won't ruin whatever time you've invested on getting here with a holiday binge. Just do practice portion control the next few days, hydrate yourself and try to do some work out at home... or a walk, anyway, there's a bunch of stuff you can do without a gym. Merry Christmas and relax, no one is…
  • Hola! Pense que era la unica de Argentina jaja... Bienvenida y ya te agrego!! (Hi! Thought I was the only one from Argentina haha... Welcome and I'll add you right now!!)
  • I don't think the cat that appeared a week before Christmas under the tree between the other gifts (thirteen years ago) counts as peeking... Sandy Claws brought it sooner because momma cat had given birth in time for him to arrive at that time lol. On a serious note, nope... Never did, except when I had to chose my gift lol
  • Dumb and Dumber 2 Needed the easy laugh, and oh god if I got it... I was scared of actually dying of laughter (and chocking on pop corn)
  • Well... I definitely never let it go higher than 54kg. I always keep a deficit to have more window to s*** up, so I don't care if I win or lose within that range. 54kg is when mirror usually starts telling me I'm doing something wrong. Sometimes I look at myself and guesstimate "Oh, I might be weighing about 52kg", but…
  • Clothes... my trousers specially, because 99% of the shirts I own are baggy (I just like them, not to hide anything... they're men clothes so they look baggy). I realized I was 10 kilos heavier than what I should be when I tried all my trousers and only three pair of jeans still fitted (I was at school -three years ago-…
  • Same stuff I ate before but in moderation. For example, when I was 10 kilos heavier, I would eat up to three packs of cookies a day (ver low point of my existence), now I still eat cookies every day, but just what the package says a portion is... Same with Kit Kats: I can't buy them here so I store them every time I happen…
  • Jeez... thanks for the warning. I never thought of drinking distilled, but I would consider it from time to time since we water mom's orchid's with that (some sort of "if it's good for the plants it's good for us too" logic).
  • Going to a gym and do some weight training... Definitely need to tone up!!! (so anxiety you can go and f*** yourself, you're not getting on my way this year!!!!!!!!!)
  • Whenever I know I'm going to grandma's, I save 500 extra calories (skip breakfast and allow my snack to be 1000 calories) because I know she'll want to eat cookies or some other delicious stuff with me.
