I was told that 3 x a week for 30 minutes would be ideal for someone maintaining. How long are your classes? If they are an hour long, I would think the calorie burn would be enough to help you lose. Personally, I would aim for at least 30 minutes a day, 5 times a week. Or just workout for a total of 2.5 hours a week.

I made chicken bacon ranch pasta the other night in the crock pot. SOOOOOOO good! Two servings (two cups)) is 565 calories. If you really want to stay under, just have 1 serving and a side salad. I'm 5'4 and I once got down to 149 and I looked great! My goal is 145. I know it's the top of the "healthy" range, but I really liked how I looked when I was at 149. I can't imagine being any smaller than 145. I don't think I would want to be.

Surround yourself with people who are encouraging and have similar goals. Also, keep pictures of yourself that you don't like, and before you started your weight loss. I like the site www.freetrainers.com they have workouts for beginners through intermediate. I think C25K is great! Lifting weights before cardio is probably best.

I tried it once years ago, and the quoted poster is correct! After a few days, I couldn't eat the soup without throwing up. I still get sick just thinking about it. Never again!

This is probably similar to what the other poster said, but maybe you are trying to make TOO many changes at once? Focus on one thing at a time. Not sure what you can do about the headaches (that's a common side effect), but maybe start to slowly decrease how much of them you drink so that your body isn't shocked by it?…

Two questions: How early do they offer daycare, and do they have showers at the gym? If so, can you go before work, take your shower there, then drop the baby off at daycare? Can't afford the internet or cable, so I just walk/run outside. I do pay 10 bucks for a gym membership, but it's a lot cheaper than paying for cable/internet! I only buy food that's on sale. Havent really start couponing yet, but I'm going to because the grocery store doubles them.

I know you can't spot reduce, but while I was doing the C25K, I noticed a difference with my thighs and lower belly. They were the most noticeable, although I probably thinned out all over. Good luck!
